Sehr schönes Haus, moderne und großzügige Zimmer und Badezimmer. Betten bequem, alles sehr sauber, Personal freundlich und engagiert. Tolle, sehr ruhige Lage mit Parkplätzen direkt am Hotel. Nicht so gut: das Frühstück. Ambiente mit Blick in den Garten sehr schön, aber neben Cereals mit Obstsalat nur Toast mit Auswahl von exakt 2 Käsesorten und 1 Schinkenart, Marmelade nur auf Nachfrage. Hier dürfte in dieser Hotelkategorie das Angebot deutlich besser sein.

Mooie ruime kamer en goede locatie. Wel ontgoocheld omdat de haard die op de fotos staat niet brandt en er ook geen hout lag! Was een doorslaggevende reden om hier te boeken tijdens de koude donkere dagen.

This is the best place to stay in St Davids. You collect you room key from their sister hotel Twr y Felin (who do a fab afternoon tea) and they give you a map and info on where you are staying. It is easy to find and the room was spacious, clean, tea and coffee with shortbread and also a min fridge with milk and water bottles and even a proper coffee maker! you are surrounded by tree and woodland walks, with the Cathedral only 10 mins walk away. The cathedral is a lovely building, so much to see. St David's is a beautiful small city with many things to do from going on boat trips to Ramsey or Skomer Island or just wandering around the shops, cafes, and especially the hand made chocolate shop (who also sell ice cream) which is heaven!

Had a lovely stay here. Very comfortable room and the staff were very attentive. It’s just outside town so take their advice that it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There were some lovely touches which made a real difference; free electric car charging, top up of bottled water (most days), vegan pastries at breakfast.

Fabulous stay. We've stayed at all three hotels a few times and it always delights us. It's peaceful, tastefully decorated and has beautiful gardens. The staff are so friendly and dinner at the sister hotel Twr Y Felin is superb. It's a great base to explore the fabulous countryside and coastline we have in spectacular West Wales

After 2 nights at Roch Castle we moved to the lovely Penrhiw Priory and the standard of accommodation matched the castle We were on our own as the location is not staffed in the evening and there were no other guests. A few doors wierdly opening made the night a little more interesting and enjoyable especially as it is around Halloween but we were assured that there is a member of staff that is around on occasion but we didn't see anyone so I prefer to think we were "not alone" The breakfast was brilliant and this was provided by staff who arrived about 8am

Well appointed room, comfortable bed, well stocked continental breakfast, attentive and helpful staff, good parking, restful beautiful countryside surroundings yet just on the outskirts of the city. In effect an excellent venue with nothing to dislike.

Penrhiw is just the most peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are wonderfully designed and decorated with fantastic furniture, artwork and most importantly a very comfortable bed. The whole place is spotless and the breakfast is delicious.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Alles war neuwertig und im tollen Zustand. Die Anlage war in sehr schöne Zustand. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder hier übernachten. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, auch wenn es vorab bekannt gegeben wurde, die Frühstückszutaten waren gut jedoch für 3 Tage die Auswahl echt mau. Keine Veränderungen, nicht mal ein gekochtes Ei. Klar, es wurde vorher gesagt, jedoch hatten wir vorab eine vergleichbar schöne Unterkunft im Norden und dort wurde ein Wasserbad für gekochte Eier und eine Pancakemaschine hingestellt und allein das hat schon einen merklichen Unterschied gemacht. Weiterhin gab es eine deutlich schönere Auswahl an Frühstückszutaten. Wie gesagt, es wurde vorab gesagt, aber auch in der anderen Unterkunft und da gab es mit einfachen Mitteln eine positive Veränderung. Was uns ehrlich gesagt noch gestört hat und ja im Urlaub ist das sicherlich kein wesentliches Merkmal, aber es gibt noch Abende und es gab auch einen verregneten Nachmittag. In der ansonsten absolut großzügigen Suite einen Fernseher mit 32 " der ca. 1,7m in der Höhe hängt Wir haben uns gefühlt als würden wir aus 4 m Entfernung eine Briefmarkensammlung betrachten. Das muss 2024 nicht mehr sein, da darf man nachlegen. Ansonsten ist der Ort wunderschön, man kann zu Fuss alles erreichen. Ich würde wie beschrieben auch trotz der angesprochenen Punkte wiederkommen. Eine Anpassung für zukünftige Reisende wäre vermutlich jedoch willkommen.
