We stayed at the City Inn for one night to visit St Davids. The hotel is only a short walk from the town centre, with a few eating options, there’s a parking onsite and a convenient supermarket right in front of it. The whole building would need some renovations, especially the smell in the hallway, but it’s okay for a one-night stay. Our room was pretty small, though comfortable enough. Breakfast is included in the price and it’s definitely a plus, together with the friendly attitude of the young man taking the orders. On the other hand, the woman who checked us in was quite brisk and not that welcoming. On the whole, our stay was average, but maybe a bit too pricey for what we got.

This hotel is a great location, easy walk to the cathedral and some nice pubs and restaurants. Staff were friendly and no fuss! Breakfast was good as well. We stayed here to be close to some tourist parts, as well as a shortish drive for our trip to Skomer island the next day. We only stayed one night but would not hesitate to stay again in the future when we return. Bed was comfortable, rooms adequate for what we needed

Definitely a 5, amazing hospitality, Howard and Andy made us feel at home and nothing was too much. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great even for a hearty eater. We enjoyed watching the rugby and the bar area is good. Definitely will visit again.

Wrong check time on your app, stated 2pm, I couldn't get in until 4pm. Your app stated the venue had a restaurant, no food was available in the evening, no just eat deliveries at all, I had to walk down to the local chip shop

Not again for us Not for us, clean but cold in welcome and atmosphere. Window double glazing blown. Shower dripping all night, chipped bath. Hot water flush in loo. They knew but not worth the expense of changing it. However excellent breakfast.

Co It was a cozy little place with lovely fresh breakfast. One of the switches in the room was not working but that is minor. The place was clean and spacious.

Great location for the town centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and well decorated. Location was close to the cathedral where we attended the coral evensong. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Plenty of parking. Goo value for money.

What a fabulous homely friendly place this is, nothing is too much trouble and everything they do for you is so obviously done through care and kindness. We stay in hotels on a monthly basis around the UK and we have found that the ones with all the posh fittings and high tech check ins are generally clinical with no character or personality and the staff are clearly there just for the hourly wage. The City Inn is like staying with friends that just want you to have the best stay possible, interested in your plans and provide so much help and advice. I would rather stay with friends any day and will make this hotel my first choice when work or holiday brings me back to North Pembrokeshire.
