電車酒店(Hotel du Tramway)

Klein, aber fein! Sehr nette Dame an der Rezeption, die mehrere Sprachen spricht und alles gut erklären kann. Das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Das Frühstück ist empfehlenswert. Die Umgebung ist abwechslungsreich, nette Restaurants und Bars, sowie die 365 Stufen zur Kathedrale! Die alte Seilbahn fährt leider seit 2016 nicht mehr…

Hôtel sympa et propre, personnel très sympa, chambre propre avec possibilité de faire un thé, j'ai adoré la déco ainsi que la moquette imitation parquet, petit déjeuner copieux, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour continuer à visiter la région.

Séjour professionnel de 2 jours. Hôtel bien situé à côté de la gare, calme, chambre confortable et propre. Réceptionniste souriante et très aimable. Bon petit déjeûner et varié. Expérience à renouveler

Accueil très sympathique, hôtesse très à l'écoute et très avenante. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre avec une bonne literie. l'environnement est très calme.

Mislead by the high rating into thinking this would be something quite special. It really isn't. The reception girl told me it's busiest during the week as a business stopover and I can see it working for that but I suspect most people checking this review will be looking at it as a stopover from Eurotunnel down South and it won't be making the repeat list for me. The pros - the woman at reception was lovely and as helpful as she could be. Dogs accepted (necessary for us). Cheap (3 euros) secure parking - and not in tight underground space. Close to a couple of good restaurants for dinner. (Particularly recommend Zorn Cote Bistro) Cons for me - the tiniest tiniest bathroom we've ever had in a hotel. It was the same miniscule area as a student accommodation ensuite and barely bigger than a ferry ensuite with no proper shower. The hotel cost is cheap but not that cheap - similar to Days Inn or Travelodge and I'd expect better bathrooms for that; cheap on toiletries/drinks tray - 1 coffee sachet, 1 tea bag, 1 cream per person so one drink's your limit (we'd already asked for more as originally we only had 1 between us) and paper cups, not real ones. Reception doesn't open til 4 on the dot. Not a place we'll be returning to.

The hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere - bed was super comfy and shutters make the room totally dark so sleeping was easy - very quiet despite being near the railway- parking is very secure and car stays cool in the garage - staff very friendly and helpful - breakfast was lovely.

Small but perfectly formed...great little hotel by the railway station. Parking right outside. Spotlessly clean room...good shower...nice town view from the small balcony with a view up to Laon Cathedral. Small breakfast room. The staff were happy and smiled...which is really nice. There are a couple of low key eating places within 50 metres...its on my stop over list.

Half way back from the Alps to home. Decided to try somewhere other than the normal chain Kyriad. Very friendly and helpful check in - secure parking (extra €3). Close to station - several restaurants and bars close by. Very quiet, dog friendly, and nice aircon.
