聖路易斯威斯汀酒店

This was my 2nd stay here. Love the location and staff. Rooms are very clean and spacious.

The room was amazingly decorated, clean, and stocked, and the front desk lady was very kind and helpful. I was a bit spooked walking around after driving all day from my car to the hotel with my belongings as a single female traveler since there was a huge party going on at the bar caddy-corner of the hotel, but I did realize that it was Friday night at 10 p.m. on Fourth of July, so that made sense. To help manage this, I appreciated the fact that there was security around the parking lot and that bar, and that there is a straight-forward pathway from the lot to the hotel front entrance. Again, the front desk lady helped me locate the lot, the gym, and even walked me to the gym, and I wish I knew her name to recognize her properly. Overall, it was a nice stay which held up to my expecations, and I only wish I could have stayed a bit longer than one night to explore the area more.

It was amazing and a great place to stay

The hotel's facilities are good, but breakfast was not the continental offering I'd expect from a Westin. Service badly undermined my stay. Check-in was poor and the front desk seemed unprepared. I arrived from Chicago with several bags and no one offered help. Reception couldn't find my reservation — my name has five words and had been merged incorrectly in their system. Instead of searching further, the agent told me to rebook; I did via ******* (non-refundable). I asked him to keep trying, as I had my confirmation number. He eventually found the original booking, but I'd already rebooked, and cancelling it was stressful. Check-out was worse. After my girlfriend's WashU graduation, we requested a late check-out; reception confirmed it at USD 25/hour. While returning, my bank app alerted me the hotel had charged USD 520 without my authorization or presence. Staff were rude, claiming they had to bill a full extra night since it was past 4 PM and housekeeping had left. No one mentioned a 4 PM cutoff when I requested the late check-out — only the USD 25/hour rate. They applied a high charge I never agreed to or was warned of. I felt disrespected by The Westin St. Louis team. I don't recommend this property and urge Marriott to review staff training. I still have no resolution for the unauthorized charge.

The room we stayed in needed a lot of maintenance. Broken curtain rod, fridge didn’t work, deadbolt lock broken, doors with mysterious brown splatter and the air vent was covered with dust. This

We stayed at the Westin to be close to Busch Stadium to watch the Brewers/Cardinals series. The hotel was perfect for walking to and from the game. The room was clean and spacious though it was a bit dark for nighttime reading. The ice machine on our floor was not working, so we had to go two floors up to find ice. These incidents were minor, and we would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
