貿易風島大酒店(TradeWinds Island Grand)

I gave one additional star because the amenities, while dated, were nice for our 3 year old. However, we were in a room on the 5th floor and the elevators stopped working. This was not ideal but manageable. Next the toilet in our bathroom stopped working. We asked for a refund and the hotel refunded our money for the nights that we decided not to stay. They were not friendly or understanding when we voiced our concerns. It was not very good customer service so we will not be going back.

Staying on the 3rd floor both elevators we’re out of service, had to climb up and down the stair the entire trip, boyfriend is disabled. It was very difficult. Zip line was down, slide on beach was down, paddle boats were down. Closet door fell off the hinges. Front door lock fell off to turn the deadbolt to lock. Shutter for window was broke off and just leaning against the wall. And still had to pay the amenities fee!!!

Our toilet overflowed after using it the first time. Staff came and plunged the toilet, but housekeeping never showed up to clean the bathroom. Found someone's spray bottle under one of the beds. Resort fees were required, despite the fact that the weather did not allow us to use any of the facilities and perks we had paid for. Was approached by a staff member trying to recruit us for a time share presentation. Dude, I just wanted to relax.

We loved our beachfront room! It was so nice to be so close to the beauty of the sand and surf. There is so much offered here. It was just a bit cold during the week of our stay to take it all in.

Resort had great amenities and plenty of restaurants, although I would say that the RumFish restaurant was highly overrated. Beach access was amazing and having the cabanas there included was great Biggest beef is the Alameda building I was put in was super super old and looked like it was an original building. There was rust in the tub, so there was no way anybody could take a bath. The toilet leaked and ran all night and you could just tell that the room was super super old and they tried to renovate a little bit, but there was no hope for renovating a room that old

Stayed at the RumFish the adjacent property last year . It seemed nicer.. The Tradewinds needs some serious TLC… Elevators did not work.. had a lot of problems with multiple ones.. also Room was terrible .. toilet didn’t want to flush, bathroom door didn’t want to shut, plugs were worn out so things wouldn’t stay plugged in.. I loved the amenities the pool beach and food was good.. but to charge all the fees they did they need to update.. also I rented a movie one nite it charged me $40.. it said it was only $20.. not sure why I charged so much

I did not like that your resort is cashless. Your elevators and parking are inconvenient as well as your entrance and exit is difficult to see at night. Had to stand in 2 lines for check in then hear about a time share like opportunity.

When I arrived at the property I was given a room where it was not cleaned and then after that o called for room Cleaning my and had to call 4 times before I get the cleaning done

Pros: Easy beach access. I December it was the most livable resort among others. Great location. Cons: Dated rooms. Bath tub was not draining. Room service showed up only on third day. Laundry dryer was not working. Took my money and died. No staff available to help.
