羅斯蒙旅館(Rossmount Inn)

Spent two nights here as part of a maritime honeymoon. The Inn itself is classic, quaint and fairly basic. No fridge or phone in rooms, fine beds, etc. but it is absolutely worth the stay for the food and hospitality. We did an included package which included 2 breakfasts as well as a 7 course tasting menu, which was a GREAT price for anything comparable that we have seen. We ended up being able to snag a dinner reservation our first night as well and we were not disappointed. The food was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We stopped here for two nights last week and at last I have the time to write a comment. By now we have been on the road over two weeks and stayed at over 6 different accommodations. We have dined out over 12 times too on this trip. The Rossmount sticks in our mind for the sheer professionalism and quality of service throughout the whole hotel. To discover that the head chef is Swiss has been like music to our ears for us Europeans. To discover that more than one server is perfectly adept at mixing a mean cocktail has also been a delight too. We dined here for the two nights we stayed and easily chose this over a potential visit into town. I increasingly comment about Canada being a culinary desert as far as we European tourists are concerned. When I do find an amazing restaurant it is only fair to point this out to other travellers so that they too might enjoy this. The Rossmount is such a place and even if you are not staying here it is well worth the 5 mile drive out of town to sample all they have to offer. I had a steak that you certainly did not need a steak knife for, a spoon would have done the meat was so beautiful and tender. My wife had the chicken with Roesti which again was perfection. Our room was huge and more like a suite with fantastic views over the extensive grounds. Again amazing room service ensured we had clean dry towels each morning, not always a given! The breakfasts too were amazing and a real continental feel to these with fresh quality food. This clearly was the best of our trip so far but, as I say writing one week later, more fine dining was to follow.

I didn’t actually stay here but I did want to say that I had a reservation and canceled because of weather and perhaps smoke from the wild fires. I canceled about 4 days out and they were very gracious about my cancelation. I certainly will try again. Did did let me know that at that time, smoke was not an issue there.

A lovely country hotel that offers good value for the price. We signed up for the full experience package which also included a full tasting menu at the restaurant, which is likely the best in New Brunswick and among the best in Canada. Highly recommended.

All staff members were very friendly and focussed on satisfying all of our special needs. The restaurant is definitely their main attraction and we thoroughly enjoyed the 7-course "Trust the Chef" menu option. The room was exactly as advertised and very clean. Having a small bar fridge in the room would be a nice add-on to their service.
