Hotel pourtant très calme mais pas propre de même pour les couvertures pleines de tâches. Hotel a rénover. Attention pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. J'ai utilisé les toilettes et douches à mobilité réduite pour raison handicap et j'ai failli tombé. Vous risquez d'en ressortir plus handicapé. Le revêtement de sol est tout défait on dirait les sables mouvants. Un conseil, allez y avec des chaussures anti dérapentes c'est plus prudent. Je l'ai signalé à l'accueil le jeudi 5 janvier au matin la femme m'a dit que c'est normal de la laisser ouverte lorsqu'ils accueillent une personne en fauteuil. J'ai pourtant insisté pour qu'il la ferme. Je sais ce qu'il en est donc prudence. Elle attend peut-être un accident pour... je vous laisse le soins d'en juger.

Used this hotel as a stop off enroute from Spain to Brittany, . The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to the river and very easy to find and sign posted. Significant work has been undertaken to turn this venue into a hotel. The hotel is excellently maintained, stylishly decorated and the rooms were spacious, extremely clean, with very comfy beds. Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was a slight disappointment, only a continental breakfast is offered. Secure parking was a real bonus. Pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the very pretty town of Saintes. Will certainly stay here again when travelling through France.

Stayed here for three nights in early June 2023 to explore the area by car. Check in was easy but it was a lot harder finding my room which was numbered “00” and while there were signs indicating where the rooms were “00” wasn’t listed and wasn’t next to room “01” which is where I would have expected it to be and eventually found it next to room 27. This is one of the older style original Campanile hotels and was fine for the three nights I stayed there. The room was basic but functional with a comfortable bed, desk, a couple of chairs and a desk. There was a decent closet area and a dated but functional bathroom. The only issue I had were a few bugs in the bathroom but it may be a strange thing but as I was in Europe for three months I too a half empty can of bug spray and air freshener. The location like most of these properties was on the outskirts of town but there was a boulangerie opposite and a couple of restaurants nearby within walking distance. For the price I paid it was what I expected and served the purpose.

Très bien pour un night stop. Bonne situation non loin de l'autoroute Bon accueil. Personnel aimable. Belle grande ch avec amenities. Bonne literie. A/C. Parking privé et gardé. Bon p/dej buffet. Bon resto à proximité.

Good clean hotel/motel with polite helpful staff, comfortable bedrooms with ensuites. Good breakfast room with a good variety of food. Dinner is available. The hotel is in a retail location, well sound proofed and easy to find with many facilities in the vicinity. We have visited this hotel and others in the area but value for money and courtesy this hotel is the best. Not expensive.
