Das Resort hat eine Spitzenlage am nördlichen Ende des Long Beach. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant war extrem liebenswürdig. Es gibt 3 Kategorien von Bungalows und wir hatten mit "Superior" die einfachste. Das hieß: Ziemlich abgewohnt, unbedingt renovierungsbedürftig. Die besseren (teureren) Häuschen waren offenbar schon renoviert und besser ausgestattet. Wir hatten keinen Ventilator, nur eine Klimaanlage. Da an den Fenstern keine Moskitonetze angebracht waren, konnte man diese nicht öffnen, weil sonst Horden von Stechmücken hereinschwirrten. Also war kein Lüften möglich und nach dem Duschen stand die feuchte, stickige Luft im Raum. Das Bad wurde sowieso nie trocken, da dort der Abfluss in der gegenüberliegenden Ecke von der Dusche gesehen angebracht war. Also lief das Wasser immer quer durch den Raum und der Boden war immer patschnass; auch wenn man nur mal zur Toilette wollte, platschte man da durch. Demzufolge hat sich auch schon Schimmel in den Fugen/Ecken gebildet und es riecht muffig. Das Wasser kommt sehr spärlich aus der Brause; Haarewaschen kann da sehr lange dauern... Der niedrige Mauersockel mitten im Bad ist eine einzige Stolperfalle. Bei der Zimmerreinigung ist viiel Luft nach oben. Alles in allem waren 46€ pro Nacht für die einfachsten Bungalows zu teuer. Die Gartenanlage könnte auch eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Herrlich war die Ruhe im Resort: Man hörte nur Vogelgezwitscher, Zikaden und ab und zu einen Gecko. Das Essen im resort-eigenen Restaurant war sehr gut und nicht überteuert und auch die Cocktails waren super. Toll waren auch die Massagen neben dem Restaurant: Die Damen wirken sehr erfahren und haben klasse Arbeit gemacht.

It was so lovely to be able to return to Sayang Beach. As always the villas were clean and spacious with efficient air conditioning and fridges. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's such a treat to be able to say so close to such a beautiful beach and to be able to dine every evening at the edge of it. The food has always been good but the bbq fish is now a regular feature and, as well as the usual thai and indian dishes, freshly made pizzas, lasagne and even beefburgers are now available. There are plenty of sunbeds available in the shade and large bean bags for those able to stay out in the sun. Altogether everything you could want for lovely relaxing holiday in Thailand.

My family and I have been traveling to Sayang beach almost every year. I think I’ve been here about 11 times in 19 years. The staff here is so polite and caring. They provide you with a lot of helpful tips and ways to explore Koh Lanta. The beach is clean and peaceful. Their food is incredible and their breakfast is the perfect mix for family vacations. Their menu consists of both children friendly food and food that explores the Thai culture. I would recommend this place to everyone. Their bungalows are nice and comfortable as well. They are situated near both everything worth seeing but still with enough distance to not feel like a all inclusive resort.
