Holiday Inn & Suites 鹽湖城機場西(Holiday Inn & Suites Salt Lake City-Airport West)

Airlines cancelled last flight of the evening causing 300 people to look for overnight accommodations. 11:30pm I booked this hotel and the airlines gave my husband a voucher for a different hotel. I immediately called the property and explained asking that it be canceled, not their problem and gave us Hotel's. Com number to call. Of course no human responded. I left a detailed explanation. Have not heard from you. I realize and appreciate that rules are needed. I also realize that exceptions can be made. When speaking directly to this property I told them they would have no problem renting this room, as rooms were difficult to find and several people slept at the airport who had looked for rooms.

Traveler type: Couple, 2 dogs, moving cross-country. The stay here was very pleasant. We got in at 2am and were able to get out keys quickly. The hotel had a large parking lot that was well lit so we felt safe with all the things in our car. There were no issues overnight. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. There were some grassy areas around the hotel to walk the dogs with a bag dispenser and trash can.

Everything was terrific, with one exception. The young man that checked us in seemed very disinterested in us. Not a smile, not a “welcome”, not a single emotion of any kind. First impressions are extremely important and this young man missed the mark. The rest of our stay was very nice.

Very difficult time getting airport shuttles to and from airport despite being just ~1mile away. Waited for ~40 mins at the airport and following morning was going to have to wait for 30 mins so I just ubered. Room was borderline gross with how sticky surfaces and floors were. I don’t normally need or use a TV but since restaurant closes early at 10pm I turned it on but it’s tiny. I haven’t see a flatscreen this small since they first started coming out with them in 2000-2002!

It was a late minute reservation due a flight being cancelled. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers were great. The hotel was very nice and quiet.

A good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. The facilities are a bit dated but well maintained. Comfortable as you would expect from Holiday Inn.

Staff was very accommodating and pleasant from front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping. Fantastic to have the shuttle to the airport option.

Airport shuttle left without us (the whole reason that we were staying there) even though we had spoken to the desk earlier to confirm that we were taking the shuttle. we had to get a $23 uber to take the 6 minute ride to SLC. We come to Utah every year but will never stay here again.
