Changed my prospective on chain hotels Was unsure of what to expect. I and usually a chain hotel person. OMG, this hotel is amazing. Centrally located, tram and bus service just outside. Valet parking was so nice. The restaurant has amazing food and service. The cleanliness was above and beyond. This hotel changed my prospective on using chain hotels. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Definitely being staying there next July when I am visiting.

I had a King room with spa bath. The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. I had a very big bed, a bit soft for my liking but it was very even and clean. Bathroom was big and the bathtub was deep. Toilet was in its own separate room which could be helpful if more than 1 person staying in the room, as that means the other person still has access to the sink and shower even when toilet is in use. I had a small fridge and a yoga mat provided in room which was very handy. Charging points next to both sides of the bed too. Tea and coffee were provided in the morning in the lobby and there were no tea and coffee facilities in room. It was not a big deal but is a noted difference from other standard hotel offerings. There also was no pool and we had a hot week so a pool would have been welcome. (Yes I did know when I booked that there's no pool) The lobby lounge was a very nice spot to sit and chill out when I didn't want to be on my own in the room. Late afternoon they provided some non alcoholic drinks and snacks for free too which was very nice. Food at Bambara was excellent, I highly recommend the birria grilled cheese, it came with the birria sauce, which was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay, I will definitely stay again.

Perfect stay This is a really nice hotel in the center of Salt Lake City. The rooms are very very nice plenty of space and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bar and restaurant are both excellent. We got free breakfast on one of our night stay and the food was incredible. This is our third time staying here and would definitely come back again. The only negative for me would be the $45 valet parking, but other than that this hotel is a must stay.

Excellent if you’re not looking to drive your own vehicle. Did not realize there was no parking with this hotel. Other than that one thing that surprised me was no coffee in the room. Other than that all the other amenities were in excellent condition. The bathroom was very spacious

No safety bars in shower/tub, have to call the front desk to change the thermostat, no windows open and the air gets stale. Room service is way overpriced and way too exotic for my tastes. Elk, buffalo, trout?? This is the fourth Kimpton hotel I’ve stayed at and by far the runt of the litter.

Nice clean stay with many amenities- wonderful restaurant and attentive staff

This was an exceptional stay with my family. The hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to the mall, ice skating, great eats, and more. The room we stayed in was large and had 2 queen beds, however it had zero storage. There’s a large dresser where the TV sits, but it has 3 tiny drawers and one large compartment, which for a family of 4 isn’t enough space so we lived out of our suitcases and left piles of clothes on the floor which isn’t how I like to keep my room. The nightstand is huge and looks like it has drawers, but it doesn’t. The Vault bar is a star with delicious drinks, great bartenders, and fun vibe. The restaurant next door had delicious food and we enjoyed breakfast there. Each morning we enjoyed coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. I look forward to going back.
