亨德森維爾平巖萬豪萬楓酒店(Fairfield Inn & Suites Hendersonville Flat Rock)

We were visiting friends in the area and stayed here. Great choice. Friendly staff, clean, all the amenities up to par. Breakfast was good and handled well. A lot of choices to choose from. Water pressure in shower good and hot. Close to all attractions.

We did not have a restful stay. The mattress was very uncomfortable. It seemed old and just sunk in. It reminded me of memory foam that was already molded to someone else’s body. We could not find a comfortable spot. The pillows were flat and way too soft. We had to ball them up in an effort to get any support. The toilet started running right as we were drifting off to sleep and made that noise off and on all night long. It was just a horrible night of tossing and turning which made travel the next day difficult because we were tired. We have business in the area mid May and had planned to stay here again but will not do so after the experience from 4/19/24. For these reasons we can’t recommend this location to anyone and will not use it again. I feel like we just threw $190 out the window.

In traveling by car, one develops certain expectations. If you’re stopping at an interstate motel, you expect it to be a place where other travelers are there, as you are, for resting and sleeping before hitting the road again early the next day. If the motel is a party central, you need to know that before you book a room. You also expect a building with walls; I can honestly state that the motel in question has no walls. Oh, there’s something that keeps you from seeing into the neighboring rooms but there’s nothing that keeps you from hearing every single word spoken in those neighboring rooms. And if it’s 12:30 at night and your room is full of the laughter and conversation that’s not really occurring in your room, then you can rightly feel slighted by the motel and its architecture. Breakfast was OK.

I did try calling the front desk twice and no one answered, but face to face the front desk staff was great throughout the day. Breakfast had a nice variety and that staff kept everything full and clean. Was quiet at night, the pool was small, but worked for our group this time.

So, I’m a 100% disabled veteran who need a room and have plenty of money to pay. I was attacked by my spouse and needed a place to stay for the night. Upon arrival I was told that since I was a local I was not allowed to pay for a room from them. Now, this is all good because I have stayed in some pretty rough places serving my country. I just think it so sad that a corporate policy that puts vets at risk. Is very unnecessary. My recommendation is for all vets, who need a safe place to stay, to not waste your time on this corporation…. They are not vet friendly … and oh, I showed them my I’d …. All good.

This stay was meant to be a stopover en route but downtown Hendersonville turned out to be a delightful town to visit. Lots of Apple orchards and rolling hills! The hotel is a short drive away so plan some extra time to wander Main St while you’re here. The hotel itself is pretty new and everything worked. Staff was pleasant and efficient, breakfast was typical of the Fairfield Inn brand. Good Wi-Fi, free parking, nice towels. I’d definitely stay here again when back in the area!

The hotel was very very clean, both the common areas and our room. Our room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and the room and bathroom (1 king bed) was spacious, and the shower was large with shelves. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The manager had free drinks and food on Friday late afternoon, which was lovely. We didn’t use the gym or pool but looked in and both were really nice. There are plenty of places to eat close by, and the hotel is convenient for getting up to Asheville or staying locally. Breakfast was solid, not expansive but what was there all looked and tasted fresh and good. There was a good variety offered. Everything about the stay was positive.

This was a great place to stay. My spouse and I would stay here again. Staff were great, room was clean, fire pit was a great place to sit, and breakfast was good. Central to all activities. Main Street events were fun. Very dog friendly town.

I’m writing this review here because apparently Marriott doesn’t have any place to contact them about problems. While the room is fine, what they are calling breakfast is not. The man who is in charge of it is not clean. The oatmeal is recycled from day today which is actually dangerous. Someone else needs to be in charge of the food and someone from Marriott should look at what they’re doing over there because it’s not up to Marriott standards by a long shot.
