... für eine wundervolle Auszeit gefunden! Es war eine sehr gute Entscheidung, meinen 66 Geburtstag im Schloss Mönchstein zu feiern und von check in bis check out absolut perfekt. Sie sind schon jetzt um 13.00 Uhr da? kein Problem, ihr Zimmer ist bereit. Sie möchten noch im Restaurant zu Mittag essen, obwohl wir eigentlich schon geschlossen Haben? Sehr gerne, ein Tisch mit Blick über Salzburg erwartet sie. Und so setzte sich das über den ganzen Aufenthalt hinweg fort. Sehr nettes, bestens geschultes Personal, wunderschöne Zimmer und eine Kücke, die begeistert hat. Dabei absolute Ruhe - und mit dem Mönchsbergaufzug ist man in wenigen Minuten direkt in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Salzburg. Uns hat das Hotel und sein überragendes Konzept in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt und wir grübeln schon, wann wir wiederkommen können.

Dîner gastronomique de qualité, avec notamment la découverte de vins autrichiens qui étaient très bons. Les plats et surtout le dessert étaient exceptionnels. Le cadre du restaurant est agréable Malheureusement la vue sur salzburg est quasiment inexistante (les arbres ne permettent pas d apercevoir la ville)

We are so happy that we booked our stay at the Hotel Schloss Monchstein! We celebrated our 40th anniversary here. The staff were amazing!! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. A special mention of front office manager Aline Sernatinger! She upgraded us to the best suite Ive ever stayed in, it was truly special. We have stayed at some of the most exclusive & expenses hotels , none compared to our experience here! Thank you all for making our special celebration truly special!!!!

Nine years ago my family spent a memorable vacation in Europe. One of our favorite stops was the city of Salzburg, Austria and a stay at the Hotel Schloss Monchstein. Our stay was everything you can imagine a castle, nestled on a mountain top above the city center could be. Our 2 rooms were spacious and complete with large, luxurious bathrooms, tall ceilings and beautiful decor. The staff was gracious, helpful and made us feel welcomed with a glass of champagne upon checking in. Although the pool was freezing cold (even for summer time), my son & I braved the temperatures and enjoyed a refreshing swim. The morning breakfasts were always a treat before we made our way down to the city. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit.

Once again, the Hotel Schloss Monchstein exceeded our expectations! This by far is one of my favorite hotels in the world! They made my husband‘s 50th birthday so special. The property is breathtaking and the service goes above and beyond! Amazing breakfast and wonderful rooms. I had a fantastic massage! The breakfast is incredible. It’s the little touches, though, that really mean so much. The chocolates and sweet notes, the fruit in our rooms, the welcome glass of champagne and all the smiling faces, that are so very thoughtful! It’s truly heaven on earth!

When we booked this for our anniversary trip, we knew it would be a great spot in Salzburg but we weren't ready for the level of personal service and care the staff took to make sure our time was more than special. From the checking process, to the room setup, to the food, and help with directions they made us feel like we were the only guests. The staff was not stuffy but friendly and aways remembered our names. You definitely get what you paid for and more at this property.
