We stayed overnight at Castle View Hotel Samal with friends and really enjoyed the location. The view is amazing—you can clearly see Davao, which made our stay extra special. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and our room was conveniently located beside the pool, which we appreciated. However, the food was a bit disappointing, especially the beef sirloin we ordered, as it did not meet the quality expected for the price. The room rate for 4 pax is also a bit expensive. Overall, the experience was pleasant mainly because of the location and view, but there’s room for improvement in pricing and food quality.
