巴古斯灣旅館(Bagus Bay Guest House)

Very nice and attentive staff. A large green area with its own entrance to the lake, with board games and active games in the air. Good European food. Good internet in common areas. A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday alone with nature.

這是一家不錯的客棧。我住的是單人房，衛浴分開。8萬。晚上真的很冷，而且很吵。還有就是睡覺的時候，水果堅果掉在鐵皮屋頂上，弄得一塌糊塗大聲吼叫。 但推薦

The guesthouse area is expansive with green, lush garden by the lake. It has a beautiful lakefront where you can enjoy the sunset. This is such an underrated place and good value for money.

Makanya Makan

On arrival bit of confusion with our room booking but sorted later by very friendly & helpful alternative staff member (who was lovely, spoke good English & was cheerful) 🐜🐜 Discovered we had an Ant colony living in our Toilet & those sun loungers pictured really do need a lot of TLC! Outdoor Dining area / garden ok but we’re disappointed in condition of guest house overall (but we’d just come from very well-maintained accommodation 10 mins scooper ride away!)

We had such a Nice stay here. The staff was really friendly and always ready to help, especially the guy Bacon from the reception, he was really nice! They had a lot of nice food too in their restaurant.

The worst massage ever... unpolite lady at the counter, "traditional" batal massage was just a baby oil bath. With no massage at all they just rubbed it on... very bad and hard, also on the head, felt terrible. I dont mind the money but give ppl what they pay for.

Everything is a little slower and grungier today as tourist-oriented Indonesia still reels from their covid shut down and Bagus Bay is no exception. Don't expect 5-star accommodations but know that the staff are kind and helpful and even those who don't speak much English will try to help you figure things out. Sadly, the Wed/Sat Batak dances don't seem to be happening even though they are still advertised. Good value budget place with some beautiful (and some dull) architecture and rooms. Bring all your own toiletries, including soap, since those aren't included. It is a popular place with both local families and foreigners and the restaurant has tasty food.

No Hot Water. Mosquito Net doesn’t work. They said we didn’t have to book und can just stay, but than they kicked us out in the middle of the day without any warning, I couldn’t even pack by bag. Double the price than other hostels near by. The guy that brought us there from the pier tryed to sell us illegal *****. No free drinking water.
