聖安東尼奧海洋世界/LAFB拉昆塔温德姆套房酒店(La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Seaworld/Lafb)

We were looking for a hotel near our family. We received a suggestion from Trip.com to take a gander at La Quinta Inn & Suites Sea World. The price offered for our lengthy stay was unbeatable elsewhere. I read the reviews and had a few concerns, but you just never know. Now, what I am about to mention I do not say lightly because I travel extensively. We arrived at the hotel after an exhaustive travel day on the road. We were greeted by a young lady named Samantha. She was probably the best front desk clerk that I have ever encountered. She was inviting, respectful and welcoming to La Quinta. She asked how our day was and assured us that our stay would be as comfortable as she could make it. She explained everything and directed us to the elevators. As we walked away, she reminded us to call on her if we encountered any issues and wished us a good night. The hotel was clean and safe. I woke up during the night and looked outside the window to check on my vehicle. I found a security vehicle stationed at the entrance of the property. This was good to see and put me at peace. The only issues that I had was the coffee and the room. I found the coffee to be Luke warm to cold on two occasions in the morning. As for the room, the hotel was a non smoking hotel, but I swear someone had previously smoked in the room. The aroma wasn't too bad but I could tell. It was tolerable but unfortunate. You trust visitors to follow the rules but not all can be controlled. A huge thanks to the best front desk clerk Samantha who checked in on us during our week visit. Thank you!

Me pidieron $50 dólares en depósito por algún desperfecto al hacer el check in y que me lo iban a regresar cuando hiciera check out después dijeron que de 3 a 5 días hacían la devolución , han pasado 8 días y no me han regresado nada. No se vale

The property seemed new and looked very appealing...it had a 4.5 star rating. The problem was once you went inside. We were initially placed on the 3rd floor. As we exited the elevator we were struck by a intense musty smell. Upon opening the door to the room it was less intense and thought it would be alright After 5 minutes in the room we had to leave. We checked the other two floors and it was the same strong musty smell of mold in the carpets and air. After identifying this we were put on the first floor which didn't have carpet and smelled much better, but when we told the clerk about the smell she said she didn't know anything about it as she rarely went upstairs. This next problem is a huge problem that the morning clerk seemed to shrug off. I'm sure we're not the first ones to complain about this, in fact, the couple checking out in front of us had the same complaint. The new bathtub had no traction and was extremely slippery! It was so bad I had to place a towel in the tub to keep from falling. At the checkout while talking with the couple and the clerk I made the comment that this was an accident waiting to happen and the couple (mid-60s) said her husband actually did fall. This can be remedied by simply placing bath matts or anti-slip *****s in the tubs. Suffice to say, we checked out that morning instead of staying for our scheduled second night.

The only thing was that my kids went in to pool and a staff member asked for them to get out cause their Lightning was not working at the time. So why open it if not running properly??

The hotel smelled so clean as i entered the facility ' i was greeted with a smile and kindness...i will definitely recommend it as a well kept place to stay....

Great location close to shopping and restaurants. Clean and roomy. The pool was great. Staff very friendly and made check in easy.
