Hotel costruito in una tipica struttura coloniale nel centro di San Cristobal. Le parti comuni ed il giardino sono carini, i receptionist giovani ragazzi che si adoperano alla meno peggio. La camera è vetusta e spartana, bagno con il piccolo lavabo in camera ed il resto in una angusta stanzetta. Comodità ce ne sono poche. La colazione che si fa in un ristorante convenzionato a 100 mt di distanza è a dir poco singolare con sono 7 proposte di menu completo a cui ti devi attenere scrupolosamente , non non ci sono deroghe .. per gli europei ci sono un paio di proposte là prima e pane, burro e marmellata e la secondo è yogurt, cereali e frutta .. credo che orami San Cristobal si sia evoluta ma non sicuramente questa struttura che poteva essere caratteristica una ventina di anni fa.,

Durante un tour del Messico abbiamo alloggiato al Casa Vieja. La struttura ha un suo fascino perché è organizzata attorno a cortili interni con del verde, porticati, un pozzo. Anche le stanze sono arredate in modo molto tradizionale e “rustico”. La nostra junior suite era un grande stanzone con travi a vista dotato di un bagno con vasca antica. Graziosa anche a scapito dell’efficienza. Colazione presso il “comedor” Dona Rita posto di fronte all’hotel lungo la via.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Innenstadt, bekannte Kirchen und Plätze, sowie Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber, außerdem gibt es zwei kleine schöne Innenhöfe. Das Frühstück wird in der Nähe in einem Restaurant serviert. Das Personal ist freundlich und wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Este hotel es muy bonito, limpio, muy bien ubicado para caminar el centro de san cristobal, a un paso del andadlor de Guadalupe. Sin embargo la única queja que tengo es q el colchón de la cama es muy duro e incómodo, dd las 4 noches que estuve no pude descansar y tuve una contractura en mi pierna derecha por no poder descansar adecuadamente en esta cama.

El edificio es hermoso y los cuartos están muy bien adaptados a la arquitectura colonial. Creo que hay un error de diseño en los baños, o más exactamente en las duchas: son muy estrechas (soy tamaño pequeño...). Por lo demás, los cuartos son amplios, cómodos y bellos. No hay restaurante, sino enfrente mismo del hotel, y está bien, aunque la oferta gastronómica de San Cristóbal es descomunal y está toda a pocos pasos. La atención del personal es de una calidez minuciosa. La única pega es que el wifi parece no poder superar el ancho de las paredes: en mi cuarto, no tenía ni wifi ni datos del teléfono. Se puede vivir sin eso.

Stayed here as part of a coach tour. Beautiful building with lush courtyards of plants and water features. Bedroom was was upstairs. The passageway was covered but open to views of the courtyard. Opposite my window was a wall which made my room dark. Dark furniture added to this. The bedroom and bathroom were tired. Breakfast was taken in another building opposite. Good location. Very good breakfast

We stayed two nights here. I don’t have much to add from my own pictures to the pictures already available, though it’s so classic and elegant I was moved to take pictures. The rooms are excellent with fine lighting, electricity and shower. The bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets, pillows and a space heater we didn’t need. We had some liquor and wanted to make our own drinks, so we requested ice at the front desk. They brought it over promptly from the restaurant. It’s true that the associated restaurant is not within the hotel but 100 feet away across the street. We had a dinner and 2 breakfasts there and things were delicious and well priced. The wine was good, from Baja California (possibly not up to French standards, but what is?). The sweetness and graciousness of the personnel , though, dominated our experience. They were all eager to help and explain anything. They arranged a car to pick us up at the hotel to go to the Tuxtla airport, after trying several possibilities for us. A smooth and comfortable delight, confirming once again the hospitable and caring nature of the Mexican personality.
