A parte turística da muito aprazível cidade é pequena, de modo que todos os hotéis da área são bem localizados. O Casa de Santa Lucía também, não é exceção. O hotel é bonito, limpo, silencioso, tem bom quarto e bom café da manhã - ao contrário da maioria dos hotéis, inclusive de luxo, sequer cobram pelo café expresso que tomamos no fim. Mas o destaque vai para a equipe. Tudo rápido. Tudo o que foi combinado (por exemplo, táxis) foi cumprido. E um destaque dentro do destaque para o Fred. Já na entrada foi direto, prático, preciso nas orientações e sugestões, e isso se manteve durante o resto da estadia.

Atención y servicio de 100..hotel botique muy tradicional te sientes como en casa los desayunos deliciosos muy bien ubicado y sin ruidos del tráfico y muy limpio. Sin duda volvería. Algo que me sorprendió es que a pesar que llegué un poco tarde en recepción me recibieron con una copita de champagne 🍾 ese detalle me encantó! Muy recommendable. A unos pasos del centro

La habitación amplia decorada con mucho gusto al igual que todo el Hotel. El gerente general Fredi al igual que el resto de las personas del hotel nos atendieron muy bien. Un magnífico desayuno, servido en el agradable patio cubierto. La ubicación es buena

El hotel es pequeño como todos los de San Cristobal, pero eso los hace más encantadores. La habitación que nos habían asignado no funcionaba la regadera pero inmediatamente nos ofrecieron otra opción más cómoda, lo cual fue una excelente atención de parte de Fredy, quien siempre estuvo al pendiente. El menú del desayuno no es muy extenso pero es bueno. Esta ubicado a 5 cuadras del andador principal, y además el lugar cuenta con estacionamiento, eso es un plus.

This hotel is a little gem, probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Mexico. The lobby and the rooms are beautifully decorated, each room showcasing pieces of local craftmanship from a different town in Chiapas. We had a room upstairs which was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good and they were very kind to offer us a packed lunch instead of breakfast for the last day as we were leaving quite early. Conveniently located, you can walk anywhere. Super recommended.

Just returned home from our visit to San Cristobal and our wonderful stay at Casa Santa Lucia. The hotel was located just an easy, short walk from the busy center of town making it an ideal location for exploring the shops, churches and museums. The front door is kept locked with staff always in the reception and everything about the hotel felt extremely safe. Our room, Zinacantan, was spacious and very comfortable. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated with examples of the textiles and amber from the Chiapas area. Breakfast was wonderful with many choices and generous portions. All of the staff there were extremely helpful in recommending places to eat, and very patient with our limited Spanish. Freddie, the manager, was a great help in arranging our tour of the canyon and taxi back to the airport. We would highly recommend Casa Santa Lucia and look forward to a future visit!

Amazing experience at this hotel. First off everyone treats you like family, the rooms are super clean and provide you with all your needs. Breakfast is delicious each and every time. I felt like at home in this hotel. Well one thing to note is that you can hear other guests since everyone is so quiet. We heard a full on conversation from another guest across the hallway, aside from that I would definitely stay here in a heartbeat.

Charming little hotel a short stroll from the main square. Rooms were large with lots or artwork and antiques. Breakfast was included and it was substantial with plenty of options. The hotel was very quiet although there were obviously other guests it was very peaceful. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Felt very safe, front door was locked and you had to knock to be let in.

We loved our 6 night stay at Casa Santa Lucia. The location is perfect because you can walk to restaurants, shops and points of interest. The staff was very welcoming, check-in was easy and we were able to see and choose our room (Magdalenas). At check-in we were given a map of the city with recommendations for dining, shopping, etc. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Breakfast was included and it wasn’t just a continental breakfast. You had your choice of different egg dishes with and without meat. Bread and pan dulce to start. Breakfast is from 8 to 11 and one morning we had an early tour but they allowed us to be seated at 7:30 so we could eat before leaving for the day. They are so accommodating. They even booked several tours for us. The front door is always locked but you can come and go as you please. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. All the rooms face the courtyard where breakfast is served. They even have a bar with beer, wine and cocktails. There is some street noise in the morning which is to be expected because you are in the city center. The windows facing the street don’t open except the one in the bathroom and the one facing the courtyard. There is no A/ C or ceiling fan but you really don’t need it. They do offer portable fans. We loved San Cristobal and would definitely stay here again and recommend this boutique hotel to family and friends.

The staff at Casa Santa Lucia are amazing. They were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Freddie, the manager, was most accommodating in every way. The hotel is located two blocks to everythng and beautiful and clean. I recommend it unequivocally!

We were seduced by the pictures on Casa Santa Lucia’s website into booking a junior suite there for 3 nights commencing Jan 2, 2024. Upon our arrival, it became clear that the website did not accurately present all facets of the room, which also seemed smaller than its advertised size of 32m. The junior suite had no windows facing the street that could be opened. If you opened the internal window that looked into a covered courtyard, you were exposed to kitchen sounds and smells and other guests walking by so you got no privacy. And the noise from the traffic outside made it impossible to sleep. On the morning of Jan 3, we were shown other rooms but they all had the same issues. As we had prepaid for our stay, we were in a quandry as did not want to pay twice for a hotel room in San Cristobal. We approached the hotel staff on duty ( who confirmed the arrangement with Fredi on the phone) that we could check out and would be refunded two nights stay (approximately $375 US). We were assured this refund would be processed in 2 or 3 days. We reconfirmed this with Fredi on the evening of Jan 3 when he came back on duty and have subsequent email correspondence with him to prove his acknowledgment of the refund due to us. However, despite multiple reminders, Fredi has not paid us. On January 31, he said it was an issue with Paypal and taxes would be incurred if he wired the money to us directly.He asked us to be patient for a day but then has not responded to our subsequent emails. I requested Fredi to wire me the money and said I would bear the bank charges and any tax cost incurred by him but there has been radio silence. This has been an incredibly disappointing end to what was a remarkable visit to Chiapas. Fredi, please do the right thing and process our refund now.

What a magical hotel! The room,the facilitys,the staff,the breakfast. Worth the price🙂 Highly recommend .you will love it for sure Close to all the maim attractions in san cristobal. They also can offered you day trips to the villages. 🙂

This boutique hotel is exceptional. I stayed 10 nights. It is decorated with authentic arts and crafts and tapestries from the region. Everything is clean and comfortable and well maintained. Shower and bathroom worked perfectly. It is located on a nice quiet street but is still near the central square. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and available 24/7. The restaurant has good food in a charming courtyard and they will make sandwiches for your day-trips on request. A big thanks to all the staff for creating such a great place and making me feel at home while exploring all the wonders of the great state of Chiapas.
