Everything was good

I am very unsatisfied that the hotel charged me US$10 for parking fee as l just parked one night and then left in the morning. There is a lot of free parking space in the US and I don’t know it need to charge me. Therefore, I am ver unhappy and would like to complain such parking fee billed to me.😩

The property and staff were nice. The lobby and rooms (especially) could use updating. Our 1st room had ants, so they moved us to another room. The 2nd room smelled musty, but no ants. The carpet was terrible, though, and the tiled ares weren't much better. The staff was great, though! Convenient location and safe. I would stay again, but would ask for something other than the 1st floor.

First off, check in was horrible!! Stayed with my son who is a Marine and we were having a father and son time. I flew in to see him. We waited 40 minutes in front of the hotel clerk who didn't greet us, walked away and was on the phone. Very rude and unhelpful. In the morning, I spoke with the manager, and he apologized and said he would handle it. The hotel shares a parking lot with Homewood Suites and at first I entered that hotel thinking it was ours. We entered thru a back door from the shared parking lot. That hotel was gorgeous, but come to find out, it wasn't the holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn is outdated and not as nice. The beds were awful!! Had soprings and very uncomfortable. That was a shame becaus emy son and I liked watching movies from our double beds so it was uncomfortable to lay on. Housekeeping took 3 days to come and check on us and clean the room. I had to complain about that. Once they came, they did a good job. Breakfast was ok. Eggs, sausage, cereal bacon. Pancake machine wasn't working.

Check in took way too long and I was given the wrong room for what I booked and when I did get to the room I was given it smelled really bad. The guy at the front desk was nice but didn’t confirm my room or anything just gave me a random room. Toiletries were basically empty and or had water to make them “full”. Don’t think I’ll be staying here again..

Friendly courteous staff. One of the staff working the dining area was very pleasant with my toddler daughter and ensured that she ate. The custodial staff does an amazing job in keeping the facility clean. The staff made us felt welcome and our stay enjoyable.

The room was overall ok but we realized that the sheets had not been changed when we found lipstick on them when the covers were off. Check in was extremely awkward as the man in the front looked annoyed that we were there. There were long pauses as he stared and was not welcoming
