喜歡它，酒店就在海灘上，拉霍亞海灘是我去過的最寧靜、最友好的海灘。海灘很寬，水很淺。適合小童和初學者沖浪者。希望我能在那裡呆更長時間。肯定會回來。

三樓的海景房視野好，屋頂很高，比標準間的空間大很多。沙灘臟，不適合小孩子玩

Propery is in need of a desperate remodel. Mold in AC wall unit, bath countertop cracked, sink coming undone from counter with huge gap, room carper and matresses smelled like mildew/stinky feet. With no fans it was like the humid air of San Diego was not moving in the room and just destroying the room. This was our second room after I refused to stay in the first one due to the smell when opening the door and walking in. Hotels rooms gross! But staff and location were awesome.

The property is a little dated, but the view/location more than makes up for it. Everyone was very polite and seemed happy to help us. I only gave that a 4 star because the restaurant manager was a ****. We personally did not deal with him but, he was berating staff very loudly and with foul language. It was completely disrespectful, there were children and several elderly people around that I’m sure heard it. Other than that it was great. This was our 4th time to La Jolla shores and we will definitely be back!!

Can’t believe they skipped / missed one day of cleaning up room. Dinning waiting time too long. Room not quiet, especially evening, sounds too loud to rest.

We loved our stay at the Shores. We had a beach front room with a gorgeous view. The staff was amazing and we loved the on-site restaurant.

A beachfront hotel... Need more be said? La Jolla is clean, comfortable, and has a great restaurant! Waking or falling asleep to the song of ocean waves is excellent. I appreciated the reassurance of underground parking as well. Even though doors are external facing, the area as a whole does feel safe. I was impressed the sliding doors for each patio have multiple locks as well. I would definitely return!

The location is the reason for staying. The staff was helpful and pleasant. On the downside, the property is dated, and needs a face lift. The shuttle service left us stranded at the Marine Room. The front desk clerk did compensate us for the inconvenience.
