小意大利波爾圖維斯塔酒店(Porto Vista Hotel in Little Italy)

This is basically a motel with new paint, same old smoking yellow curtains. Mold, broken air, dirty windows and barf from someone who stood before. I would not recommend this hotel. I would never be stay we left, didn't even want to shower and was so nasty. If I could give zeros I would doesn't even deserve one star.

Has the feel and cleanliness of an old motel, but the location was good along with a decent view from the rooftop bar.

Good hotel

Pésima atención del personal, no hacen limpieza en habitaciones, no cambian sábanas, tienes que ir por las toallas a recepción , no hay servicio en general ni disposición y no te dicen nada en el check in, hasta q pides los servicios te los niegan. Piden un deposito de 250USD AL CHECK IN sin motivo y se tardarán tres días en acreditarlo después de check out.. NO SE HOSPEDEN EN PORTO VISTA ES UNA PORQUERÍA E SERVICIO.

Check in/check out was fast and easy. Room was gross, chipped paint, stains you hope are rust and not…other things. Bathroom smelled like raw sewage and the room had a damp/never dry smell. Walls are thin so you can hear neighbors at all hours and running water in pipes that is constant till 2am. Bed had small square pillows but not real pillows making sleep uncomfortable from no support. Great water pressure from the sink but oddly non existent water pressure from the shower. Overall would not stay again even with the convenient location.

Place looked nice when I booked and the lobby was neat, but then they informed us we had to pay $45 for parking. Parking should be free, or heavily discounted for your guests. Once we got through the elevator to our floor we could clearly see this was a dirty budget motel style accommodation, (motel where you had to pay extra for parking, lol). The room was smelly, every time we entered the room the funky smell hit our face. We could hear everything that went on outside our room and every time the neighbors used the bathroom or sink. The only window was leading out to the corridor so we had to have the curtains block any sunlight the entire time. One reason we picked this hotel was the gym, they had two treadmills, but only one working. We booked one queen bed and got a bigger room with two queen beds, so that was nice, the location inthe heart of Little Italy is also fantastic. This is not a place you want to spend any significant amount of time at. If you're just driving through San Diego, coming in late at night and leave the following morning, I think it'll be ok. There's a shower, but dont plan on washing your hair as the water pressure in the shower was not that great.
