公園酒店(Club Wyndham Inn at the Park)

They let us check in early which was great. Upon check in we were told maid service was upon request. Another front desk person two days later said room cleaning is once per visit. We stayed for 5 days and had our room cleaned the first day only. When we asked for more towels and toilet paper we came back to a giant plastic bag thrown on the floor by the bathroom full of towels. Depending on who was working, we would get different answers. Despite a great location, it’s unlikely we would stay here again.

It’s a beautiful old hotel but has no pool, they spent 2 hours trying to sell us a time share and I was interested but not at that day. I was told I “burned a bridge with them” and wouldn’t get a good deal later. The salesman also spoke badly of other employees in front of my family. Hotel room was cute but the elevator is terrible.

I would never recommend this property and cannot understand why ********** has this listed as a hotel. I booked multiple rooms for my family for my wedding weekend and communication was impossible because, it’s a time share! Not a hotel. Every family member was rudely bombarded with a time share pitch and it made everyone extremely uncomfortable.

Things started well, the staff walking in the door were pleasant. The concierge offered a package for a free stay down the road if we sat in on a 90min timeshare thing. Decided why not, the sales pitch took over 2hrs, and one of the salespeople became pushy and rude when we decided we didn't want to opt-in. After salvaging what we could of the day we asked the concierge to set us up for the following day with the trolley tour and the ghost tour. We didn't realize at the time that a mistake was made with our tickets for the ghost tour and they were not valid. When we asked the hotel if they could refund us the response was that it wasn't their problem and that we would need to contact the company that issued the tickets in order to get a refund. My husband and I will not go back to this property. It's fine, just opt out of the sale pitch, it's not worth it and don't go through them to get tickets for anything.

Upon checking in was escorted to Concierge desk to receive our free gift. It was the beginning of a long effort to get us to attend a sales presentation. Every time walked through the small lobby, there they were.

The property would have been OK but the hard sell that the Wyndham group put upon us really soured our perception of the property and the remainder of our stay.

room was very noisy from adjacent service area, there was no maid service unless your stay was 5 days or more.

I didn't expect to be tricked into a timeshare from *******.
