there was a lot of built up black gunk / mold in the sink overflow drain, the shower grout was also moldy in multiple spots, the couch had old grease stains, and the comforter was a thin, old down duvet insert with feathers coming out. it wasn't encased in anything, just wrapped up inside a blanket and the top sheet.
the front desk employees were really nice and helpful, the hotel was centrally located and it was easy to get around the city from there. there are MUNI stops within walking distance at King & 2nd or King & 3rd.
the bed was comfy and we were able to adjust the AC to our liking. the mini fridge was very cold. there were only two drawers for clothing inside a small wardrobe which was not enough space for myself and my fiance to store all our clothes honestly. the patio on the 9th floor was windy and chilly but had a nice view and was a good place to take a moment to breathe and be away from others.
breakfast is crazy busy in the morning, it's okay food but I don't think we'd do it again and would rather just eat out for breakfast. it was basic breakfast food, sometimes stale or cold. it's only from 6:30-9:30 so if you like to sleep in, just skip it.
we were able to store our luggage for free after check out before our flight so we could go around the city without it all. that was a nice benefit. we would probably find another place to stay next time but this hotel wasn't so bad.
