Beautiful place in the heart of the reserve, not easy to reach but it is worth it! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, a special thanks to Tianna that showed us around.

Nachdem wir vor 15 Jahren das letzte Mal da waren, haben wir jetzt eine wesentlich größere Lodge/Anlage vorgefunden. Unser “Villa” mit A/C war ein Traum, das gesamte Personal immer parat und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten schöne Ausflüge und auch Spaß mit unseren Guide Vian. Ein absolutes “Muss” sollte , gerade wenn das Wetter nicht so gut ist aber auch sonst, die Cooking Class mit Chefkoch Jeshua sein. Sehr lehrreich bzgl Mayan Cuisine und absolut köstlich. Wie allgemein das Essen hervorragend war! Wir hatten eine absolut tolle Zeit.

O hotel é muito bonito e os funcionários são extremamente gentis e simpáticos. A piscina tb é muito boa. Porém, achei absurdo não ter ar condicionado em todos os quartos em um hotel que se diz 4 estrelas! Num local onde fazia aproximadamente 40 graus, foi quase insuportável dormir com ventilador! Há muito tempo ar condicionado deixou de ser artigo de luxo e já fiquei em hoteis mais simples e hoteis ecológicos q tinham! Muito ruim pagar caro e passar calor! A comida tb tem pouca variedade, especialmente para opções de proteína vegetal no jantar! Tb com valor um pouco elevado , até pela falta de opções! Serviço do restaurante extremamente lento!!!!

Dear Loretta, Misel, Keith, Sandra, Estelle, Eli (Nene!), Chef Alonzo & Marvin, We will never forget you. You pampered us like royalty, you greeted us so warmly and oh, my, did you feed us. Your kindness and courtesy and your careful attention to every detail made our visit feel like heaven. We cannot thank you enough. We have forgotten some of your names. I guess we will have to return (soon!) to see you again.

Hidden valley wilderness lodge is one for the books!! with astonishing views of wilderness , waterfalls , wildlife . My recommend tours would be bulls point and Tiger falls look out , the view is so cinematic it will have you crying in awe of its rich beauty . The food was chef kissed with an exquisite mix on Mayan cuisine, it was so beautiful presented and balanced in all this was one of my greatest trips , I will be sure to return . Cheers

We only had lunch at the restaurant as we had just been to the 1,000 foot falls but if our lunch experience was anything like staying at the lodge then it is more than 5 star! Aaron was our server and he walked us around the property and explained every wonderful experience that awaits guests wo are staying. If you want to disconnect from everything and be in the most luxurious natural setting you could ever imagine then this is your destination! The food was out of this world and the service from every staff member we encountered was amazing! We'll be back to stay at the FireTower suite!

Spectacular resort. It is so beautiful and tranquil. We stayed in the suite in the fire tower. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous decor inside and the view on the deck was extraordinary looking over the jungle. Waking up and sitting on the balcony watching all the birds and at night the beautiful sunsets. The staff was awesome and accommodating. We are vegetarians and the farm to table Mayan styled food was delicious. There are extensive hiking trails and the staff will drop you off. We swam under Butterfly falls and we had it all to ourselves. No crowds! We loved the 3 days we spent here!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff absolutely shined here. I have never been this well taken care of. They arranged our travel and excursions, left treats on our pillows for turndown service, made amazing, fresh food, kept our in-room cookie jar stocked, and drove us all over. On top of that, the grounds and our room (Villa 2 B) were like something out of an Instagram reel. The huge shower and lanai were my favorite parts. We took a cooking class with Jeshua about corn and how the Mayans used it for so many things. We ground corn to make masa and tortillas, cooked shrimp, pork, vegetables. Highly recommend. Things to do in the area: Take a hike to Butterfly Falls and Hidden Pool. Do the ATM Cave tour. We took it through the company Belize Limpkin with Patrick Bradley. This was my favorite thing I did in Belize. We also did Tikal which I highly recommend, but it does make for a 12 hour day of travel. I have so many people I would like to shout out: Tatianna, Jeshua, Kenny, Kevin, Darwin, Benroy (and his wife but I never caught her name). They worked around the clock, but they usually had split shifts. I know there are so many more to thank, but these are the ones I could remember.

Our stay at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge was absolutely amazing! ️ The only thing I regret? Not staying longer! This resort is a true paradise, set on vast acres of breathtaking land with endless panoramic views and a peaceful, rejuvenating atmosphere. For those like us who love to stay active, the options are endless—from Kenny’s fun and interactive cocktail class to hiking, wildlife watching, and taking in the spectacular waterfalls! The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable , always ready to share insights about the area and make our stay even more special. We had a girls trip to Belize in January 2025 and I stayed in the new Cascade Villa at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge. The villa was beautiful with awesome sunset and waterfall views. It had everything needed for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Vian was the best and took care of our every wish. He was extremely knowledgeable about Belize and the Mayan culture and was very engaging. The food by Chef Sean was wonderful and it all is sourced local. I highly recommend a day trip touring and hiking to see the various waterfalls with a private picnic lunch and swim at your own waterfall! I also recommend the cocktail class with Kenny - he smiles all the time and truly loves what he does and they were the best drinks ever! Everyone at Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge made our experience special and I highly recommend it - and Cascade Villa was the best ever. Three nights was not enough and I'll be back.

This resort is very special in that it’s on its own private acres of hiking trails and amazing waterfalls. The staff and service was excellent and our room had floor to ceiling windows and a private screened-in patio that overlooked the forest (villa 2). I would definitely go back to spend time away from technology (no TVs) and relax. We took an excellent trip to Tikal that the lodge set up for us through Lion tours. 2 brothers who are deeply immersed in the knowledge of the area and certified for swift water rescue (ex for the ATM tour). The only downsides of the lodge are how far it is from anything if you wanted to set up your own excursions, and the limited food selections/high cost to eat there. That said, the food was excellent (famous chef). A suggestion to the lodge is to offer the tacos/empanadas/tostadas from your lunch menu for dinner, even if it’s as an appetizer. Also to offer to-go breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the morning (a staple for us in the US). Regardless, we appreciate our time there (a special thank you to Kenroy and Kevin for making us feel like family!) and would highly recommend this very unique and special resort. Oh one more thing is we almost took more tours off the property until we realized the amazing onsite property tours they offered that aren’t available to the public. So we instead cancelled our offsite tours and took their private tour to butterfly falls and they set up lunch for us at secret falls. It was an experience I’ll never forget!

IF YOU'RE ON THE FENCE ABOUT CHOOSING HIDDEN VALLEY, PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW TO THE END This was our first time in Belize and we were confounded because we didn't really know which tours or which resort to stay at because there's so many options. I reached out to so many and the absolute best customer service by far was hidden valley resort. Customer service really matters to my mom and so this was the one we chose. Believe it or not, we had drove into 3 other resorts to get information about them, and, albeit pretty, none of them really captured our heart. We are a family of 4 that stayed for 5 nights, 4 days. When we got there, everybody at the resort was amazing and treated all of us like kings and queens, and we did our best to give them the same respect; They certainly earned it. They took us seriously. They understood what we were trying to accomplish during our stay and were very accommodating. First, Big big big big ups to Tianna, who made me most comfortable with even moving forward with this choice, who made any and all last minute accommodations that were needed for my family, and communicated the entire way, so on point, so professional, so helpful Secondly, big ups to Sevilla, who made our dining experience, (And food is very important to us) so fantastic, just catered to our every need any time we entered into the resort hub. we built the most relationship with Sevilla and we will remember her forever! Sevilla, Thank you for your heart and for being YOU! for Brandon, big big ups to Brandon, who took care of every step to make sure we were Comfortable, had everything we needed any time we turned left or right, very kind, very compassionate, very patient, and we def needed that patience. When it's your First time in a different country you don't really know your left from right and so you have to make adjustments and pivot as needed, and we was with us for the whole stay. Big ups to the cooks and chefs who made the most absolute superb dishes for us, omg, amazing. One night, they even stayed later to cook for us even though we came in a little bit late. Each breakfast, each lunch, and each dinner were superb. 10/10, definitely infused with mayan and Belizean culture, with such elegance, and warmth; the spices, the aromas, the food hugs your mouth- it really does. I know its not normal to do so, but it was all so good we went so far as to tip each cook because of how great everything was. Big ups to Kenny (1) who served us, laughed with us, and overall took great care of us. Chalupa!!!! Always the biggest, most genuine smile on his face! Big ups to Kenny (2) who allowed me to have an entire business meeting in the bar for hours, and still fed my family and made sure they were taken care of, even though I wasn't readily available.
