This was our second time visiting this resort. We liked it the first time, and this time was even better. We were met in front of the resort upon arrival by name. We were regularly called by name around the resort. Every employee was beyond helpful and nice. Some had trouble with speaking English, but we were in Mexico and expected as much. Their limited English is much better than my broken Spanish. The nice part was we were able to practice our Spanish while they worked on their English. As another reviewer pointed out this is not a 5 star resort. I gave 5 stars because the trip and resort was excellent. A true 5 star resort will cost 5-10 times more money. The resort next door is 3-4 times more money. This resort is amazing for the price paid. The rooms are very nice. The beds are comfortable and there are many English channels on the TV. We left a couple dollar tip for the maid each day with a note asking for extra water and coffee. We never were without either. We also went to the front desk one day and got an extra bottle of water. We always bring face cloths with us to Mexico. It is normal to not receive them while here. We also bring our insulated cups with us for drinks by the pool. They hold more and the drinks stay cold. They pour very good beer by the pools. The family pool and Luna Restaurant have Modelo Especial on tap while the adult pool has either Victoria or Pacifico in bottles. Some of the alcohol isn't a recognized name brand but it gets the job done. We always give the bartenders a tip with most drinks and also tips the waiters or waitresses a couple of dollars with each meal. This isn't necessary but it is appreciated. The food for breakfast at the buffet is very hot and good. We ate all of our lunches at Luna Restaurant by the pool. My wife ate the civiche every day, and I ate various items from the menu. The chicken soup is amazing. We also ate at Luna for dinner when it was open. It isn't open every evening. The menu for dinner changes daily with 3 entree choices as well as salad and soup. These were presented nicely and tasted very good. The buffet for dinner is very good. Some items aren't as warm as they should be but they are always bringing out fresh food. As has also been noted many times you are unable to swim at this or most beaches in San Jose or Cabo. We have seen people ignoring this and swimming. We have also seen someone almost drown. Cabo is considered a pool resort area. Centro is about a 1-1/2 mile walk. It is very safe. My wife and I run through most of the streets in San Jose each morning. This is a very nice town and should be explored. Definitely plan to attend the Art Fair on Thursday nights if you are in town. It does get quite crowded. If you are planning to eat while in town on Thursday make advance reservations. Once again this resort is a diamond in the rough. They have made some subtle changes since our first trip. These changes are all for
My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. The staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. Everyone who works at this resort is an absolute angel. They made the experience worthwhile. However, a major part of the resort is under construction and they do not stop working until 10-11pm! Our room was right next to the building they're transforming into the new gym. It was definitely not relaxing to say the least. Pretty disappointed in that aspect. Definitely call and ask the resort about construction before you go. We would have picked another resort had we known.
訪訪客Very clean. Staff are so nice and helpful.Location is close to San Jose del Cabo Art District. Very nice area. A lot of restaurants around the area.
訪訪客This is an alternative to spending all your money in a place you will be mainly sleeping at. It has a nice pool but the water is cold. WIFI worked excellent! They are remodeling which does include an Elevator they are putting in but check to see when its done. This Hotel is INCREDIBLY clean. The maids do an amazing job. My room was remodeled with double pane windows and the road noise was not an issue for us. The bathroom was also new tile and spotless, with plenty of hot water for the shower. The beds come with one blanket each, and my wife and I used both for one of the beds, however I am sure we could have asked for more, and it was a VERY cold week in Los Cabos. The staff was very friendly. They also use a cruise style key in a slot to keep electricity on. It was not inconvenient at all. Every room has an individual heater/AC. Beds were firm but comfortable and we slept well. My only real issue was the breakfast. First, the coffee was delicious. Given, we showed up at a few minutes before 10, and they had beans and eggs and toast, and a few chips left along with cold cereal and coffee. I am gluten free so I enjoyed the delicious chips. The next day, we showed up 9:45 and they only had eggs and toast. (coffee and cereal as well) I asked for beans or chips and they told me they were out and eggs was it. That said, I brought it up at the front desk and they told me they would have tortillas for me the next morning. (by the way, water, tea, and iced tea available at the front desk) The next morning on Sunday, they had plenty of eggs and beans and tortillas and served until around 11AM by the pool. I suggest they make sure there is enough food for the breakfast as a few extra dollars is better then disappointing people. Other issue, my phone in the room did not work #230 and the light inside the door flickered and had not been fixed by the time we left. (they did have workers busy on the elevator and remodeling)
• I stayed here for 3 nights as arranged by a third party after I was discharged from hospital & in a wheelchair • Staff were super friendly and always wanting to assist, nothing was ever an issue • The room was very spacious & had comfortable twin beds • The bathroom was well supplied with towels & toiletries – great water temperature & water pressure • Hotel overall was a dated and in need of a freshen up • Due to my restriction of the wheelchair, there was no access to buffet area for meals – so the staff thankfully prepared my plates & brought them to my room (without surcharge) – as part fo the all-inclusive package • The flatscreen tv provided some entertainment • Spacious balcony overlooking side gardens • The pool area looked great, but I didn’t get the chance to explore & indulge * I requested copies of receipts and have still not had these provided
