The stay was okay, however the door cannot be locked maybe because the key given wasn’t the actual key for that particular door (kundasang). The friendliness of the crews were outstanding and the overall experience was alright. Thank you for the service and hope to stay here again in the future with better experience.

Prima locatie. Redelijk eenvoudige kamer. Restaurant fantastisch qua eten, ligging en uitzicht! Goed te belopen naar diverse parken. Personeel aardig en behulpzaam als je er naar vraagt. Het apenpark valt ietwat tegen, wij vonden het kunstmatig alsook berenpark. Aanrader is het Rainforest disvovery center met de canopywalk. Ga daar vroeg naar toe anders zie je te weinig!

We stayed in one of the lodges which are scattered around ponds and forest. While our room was modest, it was extremely comfortable (great AC too)and absolutely spotless. We overlooked the forest and had wonderful bird and wildlife sightings from our balcony. It was a bit of a walk (5 mins) to the restaurant area and was quite hilly so not for people with mobility needs. Once there, there was reasonable Wi-Fi and a lovely ambience. Menu was fairly limited but reasonable quality, and there was a decent choice of wine. A big positive about the place is the staff - really friendly and helpful. A big recommendation for this place.

Great location to visit orangutang sanctuary and Sun Bears (totally recommend both - amazing!). This is a quirky, atmospheric jungle stay….dip pool quite dirty, maintenance needs attention and walk ways a bit dodgy in the rain. Meals in the evening really good. Breakfast was awful. Staff lovely. Strange cash deposit requirement for room breakages!

My wife and I loved relaxing here on their large porch, restaurant, in the shallow pool and on our cabanas porch between trips to the nearby orangutan center and rainforest discovery center. Just a 15 minute walk to see the orangutans and sun bears and an 8 ringgit grab ride to the rainforest place. A full half hour ride to the labuk bay probiscus monkey preserve which was easily our favorite attraction here . We enjoyed spotting red leaf monkeys and pretty birds on the property and were told an orangatang briefly swung by one day we were here. The outdoor shower is fun but only trickles out of the bucket. One particular member of the staff was enthusiastic to help us spot primates.

Lovely resort with ideal location only 10 minutes walk to the Orang-utan sanctuary and Sun Bear centre which is a must. My husband was approached by a female Orang-tan and gently held his hand which was a very rare and amazing experience. The food at Sepilok Forest Edge Resort was excellent and the chef went out of his way to cater for our vegetarian/fish diet. We stayed in the glamping pool villa which is lovely and spacious and the pool was very much appreciated after staying in the heat most of the day. We also visited the Proboscis monkeys which is also a highlight.
