Einfach zauberhaft! Saubere und gemütliche Zimmer mit genug Platz für 3 Personen. Die Lage ist super für die gemütliche Durchfahrt und als Zwischenstopp. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Direkt am Nordfjord. Super Wir wurden herzlich mit einem Glas Apfelmost empfangen.

Ich war auf der Durchreise mit dem Motorrad und hatte ohne große Erwartungen das Gloppen gebucht. Es gibt einen alten Teil, in dem ich übernachtet habe. Das Zimmer war für ein Doppelzimmer zu klein, aber darauf ausgelegt. Es gibt bis auf 4 Kleiderhaken keine Ablageflächen, das Bad ist winzig und man muss die Duschtür einklappen um Waschbecken und WC zu benutzen. Sehr gute Nespresso Maschine und ein gutes Bett, für eine Übernachtung noch ok. Highlight ist die Kulinarik. Das 4- Gänge Menu inkl. Weinbegleitung war der Hammer. Inkl. 2 guten Gläsern Wein waren umgerechnet 100 Euro fällig, die sich absolut gelohnt haben. Der Service war zusätzlich sehr motiviert und nett. Dito das Personal an der Rezeption. Und der Hammer war das Frühstück. Diverse frisch gebackene Brotsorten, hausgemachte Salate und Eierspeisen aller Art, perfekt. Zu Zweit oder für mehrere Tage würde ich ein Zimmer im Neubau bevorzugen. So etwas tolles habe ich während meiner Norwegen Tour noch nicht gehabt.

Great food and service! Hotel room was tidy, clean, with a comfy bed. Our electric car charged overnight right by the entrance, very convenient. Dinner here is absolutely fantastic, and they serve beer from a local brewery. With its lantern-lit chestnut tree, the garden serves as a cozy retreat with sitting groups right there on a well-maintained grass. The lounge area is intimate, and drinks are served from the bar. The hotel is split between a traditional Norwegian room style and a modern style, so make sure you select your desired experience when booking. 10/10, would recommend!

It really is worth 5 /5 in score but I had to point out that in our room 204 there was something wrong in the bathroom. It has a very unsound smell probably dt the sewer. I noticed them when we left so it is likely ok again now. We were several people gathered for a funeral and as far as I heard everybody else were very happy with their rooms. For dinner we had a tasting platter with some duck breast as part of it and I really wish we had more of the duck. That is a meal I eat often and this one may have been the best I have ever tasted anywhere in the world.

This hotel is very dated with very unfriendly staff apart from one man who served us at dinner. The room was clean but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was old, small and the shower only had one screen so everything got soaked. The food at dinner and breakfast were fine. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Loved this hotel and location in Sandane, the sitting park like area was an enjoyable place to take a break and enjoy some downtime. The food at the restaurant was good, nothing exceptional but absolutely worth the experience. Rooms were standard, but clean and comfortable and we had decent views. It was nice to try their own beers. Great spot to be able to take a stroll along the water. Met other guests who gave us a great tip on hiking the next day. Our stop here was not planned until the end and it was one of our favorite places in Norway, if we had had more time would have likely stayed another day.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely. We have been traveling around Europe for eight weeks at this point and this was the best meal we’ve had over the course of the trip. We had the five course tasting menu and it was superb. Service was outstanding and the dining room is lovely. The location is also splendid.

We stayed for one night in a comfortable clean room.The shower was very strong. Highlight was delicious dinner. One of best meals we had in scandanavia.Do not miss the dinner.This is not a 5 star hotel but was well worth the price.

Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise dort. Uns hat es gefallen. Das Hotel hat Charme und atmet Historie. Allein die Fotografien in den Gängen von früheren Gästen sind interessant (Gert Fröbe und andere). Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Zimmer in Ordnung. Die Betten waren super, das Abendessen wunderbar!

Das Hotel liegt in Sandane und ist gut erreichbar – für uns eine Durchgangsstation. Das Hotel sieht sehr hübsch aus und verfügt über einen alten Teil im norwegischen Stil und einen modernen Anbau. Unser Zimmer war im moderneren Anbau untergebracht, den wir hier nur bewerten können. Lage & Umgebung Das Hotel liegt in Sandane recht zentral. Gegenüber befinden sich 2 Supermärkte und der Fjord. In dem Ort gibt es eine Pizzeria. Sonst nichts an Restaurants. Man kann hier nicht viel machen aber für einen Abendspaziergang auf der Durchreise liegt es sehr gut. Zimmer Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer im modernen Anbau. Das Zimmer hatte ein tolles Bett und war super ausgestattet. Es gab eine Nespresso Maschine mit 4 gratis Kapseln, wo man sich einen schönen Kaffee zubereiten konnte. Auch das Bad war gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war extrem bequem. Service Empfang war ein bisschen kühl. Gastronomie Das Frühstück wurden im älteren Teil des Hauses eingenommen. Das Buffett war sehr schön gestaltet und es gab sehr viele hausgemachte Spezialitäten. Alles mit viel Mühe hergerichtet und sehr lecker. So kann man sehr gut in den neuen Tag starten.
