My family stayed in the 3 bedrooms for two nights. They were all very impressed, the rooms were comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had breakfast for 25 people including a vegetarian in the pub on Sunday. It all went like clockwork, the food was delicious, service was faultless and timely, staff were very friendly and accomodating . Thank you, Mary, and your wonderful staff for providing the perfect finale to my wedding celebrations.

Wonderful service from beginning to end. We had a family function happening in the pub and the staff were so accommodating and helpful cleaning our room first so that we could check in early and get ready. The room was very clean and spacious and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

If you want the small English village inn experience, you can’t go wrong here. Cozy old world pub atmosphere. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us. The owner and staff were wonderful hosts and all the locals we met were very friendly. Beautiful little village. Food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. Loved every moment!

Well looked after by all the staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and the girl didn't just serve us, but looked after us and was very friendly. Evening meal was good and no issues with the room.

Super-friendly welcome on arrival. Excellent evening food and beer (best shamrock I've ever seen on the head of a Guinness!!) Clean and comfortable room, great shower pressure and toiletries provided. Quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever been served at an accommodation, it had everything on it and lots of it too. Overall, very highly recommended!!

A brilliant village Inn. Good pub food, comfortable room, excellent company and a good, well presented breakfast. On the night we stayed live music in one bar but not intrusivly loud. Staff and our host made us very welcome. So much better than a hotel

We loved our stay recently at the Five Bells! The staff ( and locals in the bar) were very friendly and welcoming. The pub is a wonderful example of a traditional old English village pub, serving a nice evening meal,good beer and an excellent breakfast. The room was comfortable and all facilities very clean and just as described.

Mary is one of the friendliest landladys we've met and we were welcomed by her and her daughter, Clare, who was working behind the bar. Lovely, good value, evening meal. Delicious breakfasts. Clean, comfortable bedroom. Perfect location for a golfing break.

We had a very comfortable stay , Mary and her team were so friendly and welcoming. The ambience in the bar was great with a roaring fire.. Good choice of food and beer. Very comfortable bed, room and bathroom were well maintained and clean. Very hearty breakfast.
