阿爾山酒店(Hotel Arlberg)

Wir hatten ein 3er-Zimmer (3 Weiber). Am Anfang war ich ziemlich skeptisch, wegen der Zimmergrösse, aber ich muss sagen, es ging tip top. Das Klo war separat, was aber fehlte, war eine Handwaschgelegenheit auf dem WC selber. Das Personal war wirklich sehr sehr freundlich und haben uns super gut beraten, bei unseren Wanderungen. Auch die Flexibilität von unserer Lieblingskellnerin muss unbedingt erwähnt werden. (Wir kamen 18.05h an und das EM Spiel von der Schweiz hat gerade angefangen. Also ab ins Fernsehzimmer und mitfiebern. Wir durften sogar dort Essen. Danke nochmals, sie waren ein Schatz) Die Lage des Hotel ist perfekt. Wir hatten HP gebucht. Frühstück war nicht riesig, aber man konnte alles zusätzlich bestellen, was man wollte. (waren am Anfang nur etwa 12 Gäste im Hotel) und uns hat es geschmeckt. Das Abendessen war auch gut, aber jetzt kommt ein kleiner negativ Punkt. Gekocht war es eigentlich gut, aber mit der Auswahl hatten wir so unsere Mühe. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach auch nur andere Vorstellungen, aber ganz ehrlich, Hamburger (auch wenn sie auf Österreichisch anders benannt sind), oder Siedfleisch brauch ich jetzt nicht unbedingt und erwarte es auch nicht in einem 4* Hotel. Aber wie schon erwähnt, gekocht war es gut Meine Freundinnen waren noch in der Sauna und es hat ihnen sehr gut gefallen

It is in a good location with walking access from the Hotel to Nasserien Bubble etc or a short bus ride to the Galsig central lift system area, just 3 or 4 minutes away. The hotel is traditional, well-presented, and has rooms with good storage. All Spa facilities are first-class and easy to navigate. There is a secure ski room. All the staff in this family-run hotel are hardworking with engaging positive attitudes always in an effort to prioritise guests' needs. Breakfast is a typical well-presented Austrian buffet. The dinner is initiated with an impressive salad buffet. probably the best I have experienced in 40 years. The follow-up waiter/ waitress four-course dinner, despite some effort seems to fall a little short. Sometimes a little difficult to pinpoint...clear soups, and a general lack of hearty vegetables though the sweet course generally rescued the process. One wonderful gesture was a good choice of drinks at the bar and in the restaurant, but also jugs of tap water continually supplied at no charge. I consider this a wonderful gesture to guests and the planet, considering how many other hotels not only charge for water but will only supply bottled still or sparkling water. Overall, the Hotel Arlberg is a great place to stay.

Stayed for a week, Pros- great location, 10 min walk to Galzig and centre, less to Nasserein but quiet enough to escape noise of the night. Staff were friendly, restaurant staff very attentive and housekeeping brilliant and very friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Good breakfast buffet, nice to have pool, jacuzzi and sauna on site for tired legs. Cons- Dinner was a set starter, soup & dessert with choice of 3 mains, always tending to be 1 meat, 1 fish and 1 veggie option. Wasn’t really a fan so if you’re a slightly fussier eater you might end up spending more money on meals out on top of half board. Whilst the wellness facilities are nice, the pool is very small especially for the size of the hotel so often too busy to do much in, if anything apart from just chilling. Everyone wants different things, personally I feel the B&Bs offer better value for money even taking into account the lack of evening meal but many will, understandably, love the Arlberg.

Second time here in the skiing season. Hotel is great and ticks all of our boxes: In one of the biggest and best ski areas of Austria, walking distance to the lifts, located in the lively village walking to all shops, bars,restaurants -＞ not isolated like some other hotels. Staff is very professional, food is excellent. For Tesla drivers: Supercharger 1 min walk. Nice pool and spa area. Special thanks to Zoltan and Marina who looked after us very well.

Excellent stay. The room was big and had everything we needed. The food was good and the service was exceptional. The hotel has a ski bus stop outside and is a short walk to the Nasserein lift. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Hotel Arlberg!

Absolutely lovely resort and hotel, couldn’t recommend more! Special mention to Theressia, Martina and Leo for making our stay so welcoming and to Coco from Crystal for some great skiing information! The breakfast and dinners were lovely as well as the rooms, and only a 5 min walk from the main lift. Also, the mountain has some great runs to do. Definitely stay here❤️

1st time here with my group of 15 Service throughout the hotel excellent Restaurant and quality of food excellent in particular the 2 guys who served our tables. Facilities in the hotel swimming pool sauna etc 1st class Will definitely return Thank you

Hotel is in a good location - not so central that it is noisy outside but only a 4 minute walk to the Nasserein lift and effectively ski-in if you choose carefully where to leave the Nasserein home piste. We had a superior room which was a very good size with balcony and TV with plenty of U.K. channels. Single room had been modernised recently and was also a good size. Standard doubles relatively small though. Spa area was great to have available - saunas very good. Very good breakfast offering and dinner food was generally good although rather too many mousses appearing in the starters (eg horseradish mousse with beetroot carpaccio). Great cheese selection. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rather surprising that in week before Christmas there was no Christmas tree anywhere.

A great hotel with welcoming staff, food was excellent and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location, bus stop right outside the hotel and not far from the supermarket and lifts.
