帕拉西奧酒店(Posada de Palacio)

El hotel es muy viejo y está decrépito. El aire acondicionado era súper viejo con las aspas rotas y un ruido espantoso. La chica de la recepción no fue muy educada. La habitación se encontraba en la parte superior de la casa incluso pasando un patio.

Hice la reserva de 3 noches con una antelación de 3 meses antes de ir en Julio. Cuando llegue por la mañana me indicaron que podría utilizar la habitación a partir de las 14 horas, dejando el equipaje en recepción donde me dijeron aparcamientos de pago que había más cerca. Cuando volvimos después de comer, nos dieron la llave de la habitación en la planta baja cerca del comedor. Esa habitación olía fatal sobre todo a humedad, tampoco se podía subir la persiana porque daba a un patio, me acerque a recepción y me dijeron que esa no era la habitación que había reservado pero que me la habían dado por estar en la planta baja, le dije que olía fatal y no nos gustaba. La recepcionista dijo que había otra si quería verla y le dije que si, porque en esa no se podía estar, subimos hasta la parte mas alta del edificio que parecía la azotea y para llegar hasta allí había que subir muchos escalones altos. Bajamos y cogimos las maletas diciéndole que no nos quedábamos por no ser lo que habíamos reservado y el olor. Me dijeron que tenía que abonar 119€ por no quedarme y lo pague pues teníamos claro que no nos podíamos quedar con ese olor, cosa que no entiendo dado que no se utilizo la habitación para nada y el fallo no fue nuestro sino del establecimiento.

Nous avons été accueilli par deux femmes de ménage qui étaient extrêmement désagréable et qu’on avait vraiment l’air de déranger. Nous n’étions pas les bienvenus. C’est dommage car quand nous étions venus l’année dernière l’accueil était très sympathique par le personnel de réception. Nous ne reviendrons pas dans cette hôtel.

The hotel used to be a 18th century palace and has various patio areas. We booked the hotel as we had watched the beach horse racing last year and we had planned to stay over night and see more of Sanlúcar. The walk to the beach is about 20 /30 minute walk away. Our room number 22 was on the small size over looking the gardens of the town hall. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Big wooden shutters on the windows blocked out the light and heat of the day. The mattress on the double bed was far too soft for my liking and I woke up the following morning with a aching back. Even though the receptionist was friendly we wasn’t given any details about breakfast, Wi-Fi codes or opening hours of the bar. We managed to find the bar but it was closed. We had a good walk around the hotel admiring the beauty and size of it. It’s a bit of a tardis as it looks small from the outside. I will definitely return to this hotel next year but I will stay in a different room. We had breakfast around the corner from the hotel probably a two minute walk away. There is a small square with a couple of cafes.

Lovely old hotel, definitely quirky, like staying in a very old house. If you like chain hotels all the same don't come here. Huge room with big terrace. Cool inside without Aircon but it was available. Big bathroom and plenty of hot water. Staff very friendly. Breakfast at €7 was plentiful, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, pastries toast and lovely coffee. Was expecting much less because of previous reviews . We parked in the Town centre and walked to the hotel, about 10 minutes up hill but ok with not too much luggage. There is very limited parking on street. Great location for the castle and Bodega visit and not far to the downtown area. Town hall opposite well worth a visit. It's a former palace, entry is free to garden and some rooms

Atmospheric, charming, beautiful, clean, handy location, very friendly staff....a totally great experience. It's two eighteenth century houses combined. And even has a Michelin star restaurant, El Espejo, attached. We loved it here.

Es un hotel con mucho encanto, que podría mejorar si, pero también hay que entender que es un edificio histórico y cuesta mucho mantener. Limpieza y atención muy buena. Muy comunicativo para todas las dudas que surgían. No tiene parking pero puedes encontrar algo cerca.
