The location is good, but they charge $7 for parking. In general, the room is ok and cozy, the service is ok too

I have never stayed in such a crappy palace. First of all, the handicapped room I asked for turned out not to be available. I took a regular room which smelled like smoke, I then had to have it changed. This is now the 3rd room, the key card was not working. I came down and the fixed it. No problem, I got settled in and this room also had a smell. Fine. I decided to just let it go, and go downstairs to grab something to drink. The vending machine was not working. I decided to go to the store, when I came back I was locked out of the ENTIRE building because my card did not work for the MAIN entrance. I had to wait for the security to open the door. I came back to my room and tried to sleep. The refrigerator was making a terrible noise, then I proceeded to put earplugs in that I thankfully had. As I was falling asleep a trained rolled by. Omg. Overall a terrible terrible experience and I will never stay at another sonesta. The property is not old just poorly maintained and outdated. Swindlers may run it.

I've stayed here before and didn't have problems. It's a great hotel that is close to airport and stores. This time my key cards wouldn't work and had to keep asking the front desk to reissue. Then i asked for late checkout and gave them a credit card to use for deposit and the late check out. Come checkout day someone was knocking on our door because it was past normal checkout time. We explained we had late check out. A hour later someone different comes to the door and they were told the same thing. 30 minutes before my late check out comes someones comes through our door. Thankfully we were dressed already. When i went to the front desk to explain how irritated i was i was told that a late check out wasn't put on my room. I explained to them upon check-in i asked for late check out and she took my payment for it. Definitely giving me mixed emotions about returning to this hotel again.

The staff is very friendly. That being said, the trash next to the trash can outside of the front entrance was overflowing on to the sidewalk and was not cleaned up for 12 hours. So the trash pile grew and grew, The property itself is old and shows every bit of its age. Needs a full renovation. Will not stay there again
