The Inn of the Turquoise Bear is a quintessential Santa Fe B&B & an exceptional stay a mile from Historic Santa Fe plaza. Inn keepers Dan & Caitlin were very accommodating, providing special touches in the beautiful lobby & unique rooms. Breakfast was exceptional. Its rich history abounds with beautiful grounds & intimate gardens to relax. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is awesome and in a great setting/location. Very convenient to walking into downtown, restaurants, and local attractions. Very quaint and clean. Their breakfast is so delicious as well as their smoothies. Lots of snack laid out for afternoon munchies. Their pancakes are to die for at breakfast. Plenty of parking. Just services are wonderful as well. If you’re going to Santa Fe, this the THE place to stay

We loved our 3-day stay at the "Bear". We were in town to visit friends but also hoping for a quiet and comfortable retreat to just "hang out" between visiting and sightseeing. We were not disappointed. The weather was chilly and damp during much of our stay, so we did not get to enjoy the grounds and the inviting nooks and crannies as much as we would have liked. But between our very comfortable and cozy room and the lounge in reception we felt right at home. Owner Dan and his team were most welcoming, and responsive throughout. The breakfasts were individually and lovingly prepared - a delicious start to the day. And we really enjoyed the daily Sunset Cocktails hosted by the Innkeeper; a wonderful way to get to know our fellow travelers. This is an exceptional inn and we hope very much to return. Highly recommend.

The Inn of the Turquoise Bear is what draws us back to Santa Fe year after year. For us there is no other place to stay. The breakfasts are world class cuisine made with such love and creativity. Sitting around the big table with all the other guests getting to know such interesting people is such a unique experience. Spending time in the evening with Dan and other guests over amazing conversations over a glass of wine is an exquisite part of the stay. The rooms are fantastic and filled with such history. Dan knows the area and can direct you to the best restaurants, hikes and places to see in Santa Fe. Absolutely 5 star.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. Innkeeper Caitlin was exceptional, very personable and accommodating. We stayed in the Shaman room which was spacious, well appointed and enjoyable with an in-room wood-burning fireplace. The area had received several inches of snow the day before our arrival, and this added a unique sense of beauty to the entire property. All of the pathways and common areas were well- maintained to ensure easy movement. Our bed was spacious and very comfortable with luxurious sheets. We did not rent a car and found the property nicely situated within walking distance to Canyon Road and the downtown area at the Plaza. We did Uber a couple of the evenings due to the extremely chilly weather, but was very economical due to the close proximity to restaurants and shops. Breakfast served daily in the beautiful gathering place was always a joy. There was a great variety with yogurt, fresh fruit, hot coffee and an array of juices. Then delicious choices of Huevos Rancheros, blue corn pancakes & pumpkin ginger waffles. Yum! We look forward to returning to Santa Fe in the warmer months, and will definitely look forward to returning to the Turquoise Bear. Thank you for your amazing hospitality!

Loved our stay at this stunning architecturally and historically significant property in a quieter area of Santa Fe. The Inn is wonderfully managed by Dan, Alex, and the rest of the friendly and responsive staff. Breakfasts were excellent. The terraced gardens were gorgeous and there were little niches for relaxing indoors and outdoors scattered throughout the property. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a little more rustic than we are used to but that is part of the deal with this type of historic property, and more than made up for by the ambience and charm of the place.
