Nice and comfy stay with great x mas decorations. Loved the restaurant down stairs as well.

First room had blood on the bathroom floor and bedding. I wiped up the floor and my rag was black because the floor was so dirty. Staff was nice and moved me. Bed was hard as the floor, pillows hard and flat. at first glance rooms look clean but that the key word "look". I understand its an old hotel but that shouldn't affect the cleaniness. Supposed to be no smoking on premises but the whole place smelled like I was at a grateful dead concert. Staff was nice but i would never stay nor would i recommend it. And I'm from this town and love the history behind the hotel. They need to step it up .

The Glen Tavern is an excellent option for a stay in the Santa Paula area. The attached restaurant and bar Enzo's is very good though we didn't get a chance to eat there this time around since the children were with us and they wanted pizza instead. The lobby is very peaceful and atmospheric, so much so that my wife and I spent an hour reading and talking in one of the sitting areas there just because it was so pleasant. The outdoor gazebo area is also a great place to take the kids in the evening once things start cooling off. There are date palms there and comfortable wooden rocking chairs and it is rarely crowded.

where do you start? The cob webs in the windows? it's old and shows it, I guess if you are into the ghost and ******* thing it's ok but not would I reccomend.

My husband and I were totally charmed with our stay. We live only 10 miles away from Santa Paula and had never stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn. Dinner at the restaurant located inside the Inn was more than we had hoped for. Very romantic with a great wine list and an enticing menu. We were treated with the music of a vey accomplished musician who played the piano and accordion as we dined. The Glen Tavern Inn is very unique in that it is a very historic building. Our room was clean, comfortable and had the charm of being very original to the era that the Inn was built. The lobby is amazing! We love the fact that we found such a wonderful experience so close to home. It was a bit of a splurge for us... but then again so close to home!

This hotel is definitely unique, but I would not recommend the hotel. It has a cool lobby and the overall vibe is okay. The rooms are old and not that comfortable and there are no real amenities (we had a microwave on the floor!) but if you had to stop in Santa Paula (which I don’t recommend) this would be the place to stay. The restaurant is nice and the food is great! Definitely eat there.

The rooms were okay needed a little tlc the food in the restaurant is excellent and the service is excellent also this is our go too place in Santa paula when we come to visit family

The room was cold. It has a heater. I turned it up to 80 but, I have a thermometer and it was 42 at 11 p.m. I called the person on call . He said, you can complain about it tomorrow. I cant do anything. I will look for a space heater but no guarantee. I turned the heater all the way up to the maximum of 90 and it did kick it on and got the room up to about 70. It's an older and quaint and beautiful place but know that quaint often comes with things like no elevator, heaters that dont work properly etc.

This is a beautiful restored craftsman hotel built in 1913/ It has great atmosphire..charm..you feel like you stepped back in time. Lovely resturant..piano on weekends..good food. n Whole hotel is loaded with wonderful charm. I will definitely return. Many actors have stayed here when a movie studio was filming.
