Our search for an exclusive and tranquil getaway led us to Cape 9, but what we experienced was far from the luxury we were promised. The villa, situated right next to a bustling road, was a cacophony of noise, disrupting any chance of peace and serenity. The property itself was disjointedly split into two by the very road that tormented us, making the layout confusing and inconvenient. The promise of an exclusive pool fell flat, with facilities that were substandard and lackluster, far from the lavishness one would expect from a high-end villa. The service, or lack thereof, was another major letdown, as the staff displayed a concerning level of unresponsiveness and disinterest in our wellbeing. After two restless nights, we decided we couldn’t bear it any longer. We left Cape 9 in search of the luxury experience we craved and thankfully found refuge in another property that truly understood the meaning of exclusivity and high-quality service. In short, Cape 9 was a colossal disappointment, a faux luxury villa that failed to deliver on its promises. Travelers seeking a true 5-star experience should look elsewhere, as this property is undeserving of your time and money.

I booked this hotel 9 months in advance, immediately after which I cancelled because I recognized it too far from where we wanted to be in Santorini. I received no communication from the hotel - no confirmation, no cancellation, no receipt or notice when they charged my credit card the full amount a month later (6 months before the stay), and no notice when their non-refundable policy expired. When I finally received my first email days before the reservation, when I was already traveling internationally, I immediately responded that there must be some confusion. I was met with incredibly rude and antagonist responses that were shocking from a hotel of this type. I travel very frequently and stay at all levels of hotel and have never experienced this. When I pointed out that I could not produce the cancellation because they never sent me one, they insisted that I be fully charged. When I then pointed out that their taking of the full amount as deposit and refusal to accept even a 50% refund violated the Greek Tourist Protections, they responded that it was their policy to do so. They also said they expected to see me there and kept their rooms as unavailable on their website, even though I noted that reposting the room could mitigate the damages. The tone of their emails - exclamation points, all caps terms etc. was really just shocking. It ruined the part of my vacation spent trying to reason with them, in addition to the money I am currently disputing that they withdrew from my card. Book at your own risk - the practices do not conform to Greek standards (I am filing a complaint) and the tone was in stark contrast to the otherwise lovely staff we encountered at other hotels in Greece. Save your money and sanity and book elsewhere.

Hébergement fantastique dans un secteur tranquille et enchanteur. Les villas sont magnifiquement entretenues. Les piscines: wow! Le personnel est omniprésent et très aidant. Les déjeuners sont servis sur la terrasse, délicieux et copieux. Nous sommes une famille de 6, dont quatre adolescents et nous ne nous sommes pas sentis a l’étroit. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement!

Nous avons séjourné au Cape 9 chambre 8 dans une magnifique suite donnant directement sur la mer avec une vue à couper le souffle sur 180 degrés. Magnifique expérience, nous avons adoré ce séjour. Une équipe toujours disponible parlant parfaitement français et anglais Les + : - Une des plumes belles vues de Santorin (voir photos) - tranquillité des villas et pas de vis à vis (impossible à Fira ou Oia) - piscine privative - decoration des chambres ultra moderne et qualité des finitions (Elle Décoration ) - proximité des plus belles plages de l’île : la plage Rouge et la plage blanche à moins de 5 km (5 mn en quad) Les - : - isolé donc besoin de louer un quad ou voiture pour visiter l’île (20 mn de Fira / 40 mn de Oia) - bruit pour les chambres au dessus de la route , privilégier les chambres 7/8/9 qui sont côté falaise - petit déjeuner un peu léger mais de qualité

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff and service was absolutely wonderful. They catered to our needs, and gave us an early and late checkout. Great place for families and SUPER clean.
