尼科斯別墅酒店(Nikos Villas)

WOW, Nikos Villas might not be the most modern or poshest Hotel in Santorini, but it was authentic and their staff has been absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make our experience fantastic. Very friendly, helpful and just lovely. The view of our room was amazing and breakfast very tasty.

My wife and I decided to spend a few days in Greece after our cruise ended. By chance, we booked our stay at Niko's Villas and Suites. What a find, almost as good as finding buried treasure! The staff is so friendly and accommodating that you feel that you are with family, not in a hotel. Dimitris, Matina, Fo and the rest of the staff are the best. The rooms are mainly on the smaller side; but who cares, we weren't there to stay in our room. The location is perfect. It is just a short walk into the main area of Oia, which is great. It means that you don't have to deal with the daytripper cruisers that flood the streets during the heat of the day. The views of the caldera are spectacular, and you can watch the sunset from the terrace or you patio sipping a great drink made by Fo. It is a beautiful and easy roundtrip walk to Fira if you choose. If you want to do something, you just have to ask at the front desk and they will arrange it. For eating, there are 50 or more restaurants and tavernas within a 10 minute walk. We are already planning to go back next year and hopefully beyond!

Exceptional service from the general manager, Dimitri. Traveled with 6 couples. View is extraordinary. Breakfast was hearty and delivered to each individual terrace. So glad we were a short walk to the center of the business district, but away from the chaos of the cruise ship travelers. Pool side bar and markets close by. 5 minutes away from the hotel is a great local restaurant filled with locals-Santorini Mou.

We stayed at two luxury properties for a 5 day stay in Santorini and while neither disappointed, Nikos Villas Hotel was by far the favourite. It was far more reasonably priced, but the location and views onto the Caldera were awe-inspiring and beat hands down the more modern, whitewashed, jacuzzi and 'luxury' alternative we stayed at. This traditional hotel combines a rich history and warm welcome, with well maintained and extremely comfortable accommodation. I would visit again and again despite the immense number of competing properties. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast offering superb and the facilities delightful. The Caldera View rooms along with the poolside offer a perfect spot to take in the sunset without having to join the throngs of tourists so this really was the best of the best.
