Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour dans ce formidable hôtel. Placé sur les hauteurs d’Akrotiri la vue est magnifique… Nos hôtes sont disponibles mais pas envahissants. Loin des zones très touristiques, le calme règne. Accueil extraordinaire à 4h du matin, petit déjeuner délicieux avec bcp de choix et préparé à la demande. Chambres spacieuses et propres. Prévoir une petite voiture pour accéder à l’hôtel, un passage étroit mais facilement franchissable. Si nous effectuons un deuxième séjour, le Kalestesia sera notre lieu de résidence.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Herbst in den Kalestesia Suites. Tolle, große Zimmer mit Traumblick auf die Caldera und warmen Jacuzzi. Die Anlage ist mit ihren nur 10 Zimmern unglaublich erholsam. Das Frühstück wird nach persönlichen Wünschen zusammengestellt und ist sehr frisch und lecker. Petya und Michael, die für das leibliche Wohl und alle Orga rund um die Rezeption verantwortlich sind, haben uns stets hilfreich zur Seite gestanden, uns Tipps für Ausflüge und sehenswerte Orte auf der wunderschönen Insel gegeben. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Suites sind im typisch griechischen Stil eingerichtet, sehr sauber, tolle Betten. Der beheizte Privatpool ist wirklich ein Highlight. Der Frühstücksservice und Auswahl bemerkenswert und sehr, sehr herzlich. Auch Michael von der Rezeption hat immer ein paar besondere Tipps auf Lager und so kamen wir in den Genuss von 2 Restaurantempfehlungen, die wir so nie gefunden haben. Ein wundervoller Ort zum Entspannen und wohlfühlen - besser kann man nicht urlauben.

Wir haben lange gesucht, in welches Hotel wir auf Santorin gehen. Unsere Wahl ist dann auf das Kalestesia gefallen - ein Glück! Bei der Ankunft hat Michael, der Manager, mit uns bei einem Glas Wasser alles erklärt. Er hat gesagt, man kann mit allem zu ihm kommen. Und das kann man auch. Er arrangiert Restaurant-Besuche, die einen auch abholen und wieder zurück bringen. Hotel Die Anlage hat nur 10 Suiten, es ist neu renoviert und in top Zustand! Die Poolanlage ist top, es hat ausreichend Platz und viele Suites haben einen eigenen Whirlpool. Es gibt einen Spa-Bereich und einen Frühstücks-Bereich. Man kann aber den ganzen Tag Kleinigkeiten zu essen bestellen, die ALLE sehr gut schmecken. Die Zimmer sind extrem sauber und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Lage Die Lage ist der, meiner Meinung nach, höchste Punkt im Süden der Insel und man hat einen 360°-Blick über die Insel. Aber ein Mietwagen ist absolut notwendig, um von dort aus die Insel zu erkunden. Aber da hilft Michael einem immer gerne bei der Buchung. Es geht meistens ein kleines Lüftchen, sodass es kaum zu heiß wird dort. Service Wie schon gesagt, bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Petia, die Frau von Michael, ist die gute Seele und das Herz im Service. Immer ein Lächeln für die Gäste übrig, immer darauf bedacht, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben und interessiert sich auch sehr ehrlich für die Wünsche der Gäste. Auch Nikos macht einen tollen Job! Wer einen Cocktail möchte, ist dort bei seinen eigenen Kreationen genau richtig. Außerdem kann man auch tolle Gespräche mit ihm (aber auch allen anderen) führen und er schaut immer, dass man ausreichend Wasser trinkt. Auch der Chef der Anlage kann jederzeit angesprochen werden und auch er hilft bei allem, was er kann. Am Ende war es dann wie: We came as guests and left as family. We'll come back!

The hotel is fabulous, the view is incredible, and the private jacuzzi is truly enjoyable. The accommodation is adorable and well-equipped. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite hearty and delicious. I highly recommend it, especially for the view, the pool, and the accommodation. You really feel like you're on vacation. And despite our very limited English, the staff was patient and attentive. Go for it, it's worth it! Thanks again, Kalesthesia ;)

Wow, just wow! The position of the hotel at the top of the mountain allows for some breath taking views of the caldera and rest of the island. Although in a quieter region of the island, this was just perfect for us for a relaxing stay and away from the busy tourist areas of Oia and Fira. The rooms are stunning with your own private jacuzzi and day bed- worth the extra cost! Breakfast each morning is more than enough with fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, bread, meat and an omelette cooked to how you like it! Food is available at the pool bar which is a bit more cost than the restaurants in the local village but the portions are huge. Just a short scenic walk down into the local village where there are plenty of restaurants for dining out in the evening and a bit more of a stroll back up the hill but fine for the evening when it is cooler. We rented a quad bike for the day which was 55euro cash (65 if by card) and travelled to Fira which was only around 20 minutes away. Top tip: for the best location for seeing the beautiful sunsets, go to the lighthouse in Akrotiri (only around 10 mins away) - it’s a beautiful location where you can sit on the rocks and watch the sunset rather than the packed Oia version. The staff here are lovely and can’t help you enough. Theo and the team were great and able to offer advise on trips, renting cars etc Would recommend to anyone looking to come to Santorini for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.
