I was surprised once I walked inside Cruzeiro Guest House, my room had an amazing view and lots of space with a good size private bathroom. The restaurant on the roof top serves amazing food and we had a very good breakfast with all natural and organic papaya and local cheese.

I had a great stay at Cruzeiro Guest House. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring São Filipe. I especially enjoyed the views and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We wanted a place next to the ocean with free breakfast so we found a great deal on Cruzeiro and booked an ocean view room. From the first moment I felt in love with the view from the room. In the morning we had an amazing breakfast on the roof top overlooking the ocean.

Cruzeiro is very beautiful they have an incredible restaurant on the roof top with an amazing view Fatima and Vany is great.

We spent four days in this guest house in a sticky room without real window asking daily for changing it. The new arrivals got rooms with seaview and balcony but those who once had payed and accepted their cave had to stick there until the last day. The employees are simply too lazy to make any change!

It's a simple guest house, but with an authentic feel. We stayed in the sea-view rooms, right in front of the beautiful black beach. It was lovely to hear the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. The room was large enough, simply furnished, and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast, served on the veranda, was very good and varied. We also had dinner (someone wrote that you could not have dinner, which was very strange...) and we must say that we ate very well. We believe that, at a reasonable price, it is the best establishment on the whole island of Fogo. We recommend it.

The owner was very welcoming and the staff were very pleasant, lovely environment, I will definitely stay again in this property
