The room looked good but upon entering the bathroom, the wallpaper looked white speckled with black. When we looked closer then all around and on the ceiling, we were shocked that what we were looking at was black mould all over the bathroom walls and ceilings. We got out as fast as we could and asked for another room. They said they had non, although there were no signs of anyone else staying there, and we were referred to another hotel with same owner on the other side of the street. The new room was much better.

We found a cockroach in our bathroom & the manager would not give us a refund. He offered us another room but if there are bugs in one room there will be bugs in all. We left & stayed at The Northlander.(very nice and clean)

I like this place and have been several times. The only thing I didn't like was the carpet; it seemed like it had never had a steam clean. When the heater was on, the carpet stank like mold. I don't like to go there with kids.

Owner or whoever manages the motel has to really looked into the carpet, needs upgrade or at least clean it, i found dusts all over to the point that my girlfriend and i having Hives.

The price was right and the staff were friendly. Aside from that the room was outdated, dirty, and the room next to us was blocked off with “DO NOT ENTER” signs and had a security outside it running all night long. We purchased a remote in order to use the TV, as we couldn’t reach staff. We also bought blankets and pillows because the ones in the room smelled dusty. The bed was old dusty and hard as a board. I can see that the rooms were recently painted in an attempt to freshen things up. But soap, water, new beds, pillows and bed coverings would have gone much further.

Likes:The person that received us was great help accommodating us. He help us Location is perfect at the Sault Dislike: Looks old, a bit dirty (Bath and Bed), but we slept great

Our room smelled really bad, cigarette burns in the comforter, holes in the sheets, plastic left on mattress which was really uncomfortable, outlets missing covers, old coffee filter and grounds left in the coffee machine, bathroom door didn’t shut properly cause there was pieces missing from it, towels also had a weird smell and the bathroom still had hair all over the place from previous people.

Very outdated, carpets are stained, shower curtain has like black spots, almost like mould looking, Black hairs lying around. Why does ******* have to make money on your booking, thus pushing up the price! Just for the reviews? Hmm.Cheaper to book directly.
