The Amethyst Inn is located in the historic district of Savannah. Striking colour on the building and parking off street is good. Service with a smile and a chat. Food for breakfast very custom made and great vegan options. Old quaint house and as you would expect a few creaks and quirks.

The Amethyst Garden Inn is an absolute gem! The house itself is stunning—inside and out—with a timeless charm that instantly makes you feel at home. We stayed in the Hydrangea Suite, and it was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Chemise, the host, is truly the heart of this experience. She made our stay unforgettable with her warm hospitality and attention to detail. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast! Chemise is an incredible cook, serving up authentic Southern-style meals that were not only delicious but also made with so much love. Each morning was a feast that we looked forward to, and it was hands down the best part of our stay. The location of the house is also fantastic—everything in Savannah seemed to be within a 30-minute walk, making it so easy to explore the area. We loved trying out nearby restaurants like The Public and Clary’s, which were both excellent recommendations. Any bed-and-breakfast in Savannah would be fortunate to have someone like Chemise running the show. Her dedication and passion for hospitality shine through in every aspect of the experience. We can’t recommend the Amethyst Garden Inn enough—it’s a true treasure in Savannah!

I chose the Amethyst Garden Inn because they had chandeliers in every room. The house is beautiful and located in the Victorian part of town near the park. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and really good. Chemise accommodated menu preferences. But most of all she was kind, welcoming and met special needs. We would absolutely stay there again.

What a great stay... Chemise (hostess/chef/concierge) was amazing, the food was amazing and the stay was amazing. We booked on the website, super easy; Uber to all the hot spots with ease. Parking was simple (which is saying something for Savahna) there was room on the street and/or at the edge of their parking spaces for a full sized truck... we loved our stay!

We have stayed at this B&B several times. The location is amazing! Very walkable. The home is beautiful! The breakfast is outstanding! The hostesses is amazing. So friendly and kind. It’s our favorite place to stay in Savannah.

Our room was comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making it easy to unwind after exploring the city. We felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Amethyst Garden Inn. The room was what it appeared to be in the pictures and the beds were comfortable. The best part was the warm hospitality from Chamise our proprietor who also cooked a very delicious breakfast every day!! with lots of variety of dishes. The only thing I missed was a mini fridge in the room for the other delicious meals we had around town!!

We celebrated our anniversary in Savannah and our stay at the Inn was one of the highlights. The entire Inn is beautifully appointed and we enjoyed our stay in the Magnolia room ( very comfy bed!). The Innkeeper, Chemise, was charming and her breakfasts delicious! Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Savannah.

The historic home was beautiful and our stay was restful and wonderful. The host was so helpful, providing written recommendations for dining, shopping, and other activities upon arrival. She also cooked fabulous breakfasts with sweet and savory options every morning. So delicious. No need for a rental car, as this property is walkable to everything

Chemise was an extremely welcoming hostess. The food was delicious. Self-serve coffee and tea available any time was appreciated. The inn is lovely. If you have trouble navigating stairs, ask for a garden room. The location is convenient for walking to several sites and easy to access the hop on hop off trolley.

Old world historical charm including lovely host (who doubled as a great cook) A little way out of the historic hub (but a lovely walk through multi squares brimming with history). Highly recommended place to stay and explore the beautiful Savannah.

Great place to stay close to the main park. The innkeeper was great and made our stay wonderful. Breakfast was very good. Hot water takes a while to get to the shower but worth the wait.

Gorgeous Victorian home in beautiful historic area! Chemise provided excellent friendly service and delicious breakfasts and treats. It was so nice to enjoy the common spaces through the day and imagine living in the house. Had so much fun roaming the neighborhood taking in the other homes and so many park squares. It would have been nice to be able to control the temp in our room. Also needed a couple of paint touch ups in the bathroom area. Really enjoyed our stay!
