Disappointed with Lack of Flexibility and Support for Military Members
I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I recently booked a stay here while transitioning into new housing. Unfortunately, my move-in dates changed unexpectedly something that often happens in the military. I contacted the hotel to adjust my reservation, but they refused to make any exception to their policy, even after explaining my situation as an active-duty service member.
Instead of working with me to find a fair solution, they stated that I would have to “eat” the full $700 charge for days I no longer needed. I completely understand that hotels have policies, but I expected a little more understanding and flexibility, especially given the circumstances and my military status.
It’s disheartening when businesses don’t show any willingness to support those serving our country. I hope management considers being more accommodating and empathetic in the future especially toward service members and families dealing with unpredictable schedules.
