Upon arrival one elevator was out of service and was still out upon my departure. I’ve read other reviews that indicate this elevator has been out for weeks! What are they thinking? The remaining elevator was extremely slow, and the operation of the door was jamming back and forth. The floor selection buttons inside the one operating elevator had to be engaged several times to finally choose your target floor. I did not determine the following until Sunday morning, but my shower had not been cleaned as there were hairs in several locations or the shower. Notwithstanding that I rinsed it out to prepare for a shower, and I was never able to acquire hot water. As I was in the area to officiate a funeral I contacted the funeral and they offered their shower to me for preparation. I the middle of all of this, I went down for breakfast which was abysmal. OJ sower. Two drink buttons were closed out of service. The sausage links were resting in lukewarm water, not hot, but lukewarm. The muffins had freezer/refrigerator “burn” tasted horrible. I tried the cereal but the milk was lukewarm, horrible. I decided to opt for the Cracker Barrel a half a mile away, and ran into three couples I recognized from your hotel, because your breakfast was so bad. Upon return from CB, we learned that the one operating elevator was now out of service. Leaving your customers to walk up to six flights of stairs. I was told a technician was requested. I had just had knee surgery one week earlier so walking up to my room was a daunting challenge. After 45 mins I started the journey to the fifth floor to my room. A humbling, challenging twenty minutes. After I packed to go to the funeral for a shower, the one elevator had been repaired now operational. Lastly, I was grateful for the pool and hot tub, as there are so few open now, these were. Although the hot tub was operational, it was not hot at all, so not very much help to my aching knees. Not a very good stay at all. Just received a response to Hilton Corporate, as I am a Hilton Diamond, from the manager, and I quote, “We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.” Are you kidding me? At $154 for the above, and you want me to spend more money with you? STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!
