On arriving we easily did the self check in no problem at all. We were on the top floor which has nice views. Room was large with air con which was great as you can’t open the windows at all. The water wasn’t hot when I ran the bath it was just warm which wasn’t great. Each time we entered reception there was a really awful smell like dirty nappies/sewage. I think guests staying at the hotel should get free parking as it cost £7.20 for 24 hrs with a notice saying it was going up to £7.90! A bottle of water was £2.70 which is truly Dick Turpin. The pub across the car park was ok for a quick meal but the pub looks worn and it needs a deep clean. Overall for £81 plus extra for parking for one night it was reasonable.

We stayed for one night and we were very happy with the hotel and restaurant. We generally choose Premier Inn because you know what to expect although it’s true to say we’ve been disappointed on occasions. No disappointments here. Easy check in, clean, spacious room and good meal deals. Very happy with what we paid for two course dinner and drink and breakfast. Food was good at dinner and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Plenty of staff and all were friendly and attentive. Bonus was we didn’t have to pay for car parking - it’s free until February

We usually have no issues and prefer Premier Inn for the corporate rooms. This particular Inn is not recommended as none of the windows in the rooms open at all. We were in a ground room and asked to move to a room with an opening window. The lady at reception asked the manager and we were told that none of the rooms had opening windows! We hate air con unless it's red hot and why on earth is fresh air banned? It's not a corporate policy as we have stayed in other Premier Inns with windows that you can have ajar for fresh air. My husband is asthmatic so air con is a big no no , I dread to think how grubby the refiltered air is and we've woken with dry airs and throats this morning as we are not used to it.

The whole premier inn stank when we arrived, the lobby, the lifts etc, smelt of mouldy old urine and garbage for the full evening we were there. I am currently pregnant and struggling really badly with smells and so this was incredibly difficult for me to deal with, and my son struggled with it too. When we arrived in the room, although the room smelt fine, there was either diarrhoea or something else ghastly that had been poured into the toilet as it was an absolute disaster and was incredibly alarming for my son to find. The bedding had lots of black marks on and didn’t seem clean. We were incredibly disappointed as this is an annual trip for us and the reason we came back was because we had such a wonderful experience last time.
Stayed in this hotel in November for a sea side trip, mainly to visit Bridlington and Scarborough. First of, if you have the extra money to spend in the south bay one I would recommend it as it is much nearer to the beach and attractions. As for the premmier inn we stayed at, it was your typical premier inn with friendly staff, good facilities and clean rooms. There are only four things that went wrong: 1. The bath tap unit, when on the shower setting, sprayed water out of the pipe, we did manage to block the water from going on the floor with the shower curtain, but it still made a mess. 2. When we asked for another bath towel from reception, it was covered in black/brown stains. 3 The restaurant was closed due to inadequate staffing. This didn’t bother us however as we went to the independent pub next to it which served nicer food in my opinion. That does lead me on to my fourth which was that there didn’t seem to be enough staff around. They were constantly running between the bar and reception. Bar the negatives, this was a really affordable and comfortable place to stay for 2 nights. I would definitely recommend as most of our issues were one time things.

The staff were so helpful and as always the rooms were very clean and comfy - we had breakfast both mornings and the food on offer was excellent - a good variety to cater for all.You have to pay for parking but to be fair it was only £7.90 for 24 hours.

When you book Premier Inn you don’t expect 5 star luxury but from staying at many others over the years this just didn’t seem to match the standards of others previously. Room wasn’t dirty but didn’t feel totally clean. Tea/coffee sachets were ina little grubby box that was manky. Toilet had poo marks in bottom of bowl along with a bit on side just above water line, toilet had clearly not been cleaned. Towels had definitely seen better days. Worst of all was the bed, which was as definitely different to any other ones slept in at other Premier Inns. Bed was solid, mattress poor as you could feel the bed underneath, poor sleep because of this and a sore back to boot. I’d look elsewhere.

The pillows and bed were comfortable. Cleaniness was brilliant and we were comfortable at our stay. The reception greeting check in staff member was brilliant. The rest of the staff were poor, they did not acknowledge us at the breakfast check in. We had to approach them to ask to be checked in to breakfast and allocated ourselves a table.

Yes it’s Bank Holiday so we were expecting higher prices but Premier Inn really only focus on profit rather than Customers. It cost me an astounding £547 for 2 rooms for Saturday & Sunday including breakfast but we were expecting the normal great service from Premier Inn but this wasn’t the case. My son suffers from Autism so anything that doesn’t quite go the way it should stresses him. So disappointment number 1 when we arrived at just after 12:00 we were told bluntly that it wasn’t possible to gain early access to just one of our rooms. Which meant we were hanging around for 3 hours. Next we found that in one room there was no soap in the dispenser, also despite one room having 2 occupants there was only 1 towel in the room. This resulted in having to join a long queue at reception of other Customers complaining about quality issues with the rooms. Another disappointment was due to an issue with the beer cooler, the hotel was unable to offer draught lager / beer for the whole weekend. Also there was a poor selection of other drinks which was a letdown and led to a very sober stay. Finally considering the hotel is new the restaurant was far too small which led to chaos at breakfast. Also there was a quality of breakfast was poor, cold food, undercooked bacon, over cooked eggs. Who fries eggs in an oven, that will be the Premier Inn at North Bay Scarborough. I know all of the above seems petty and that I’m just moaning about the small stuff but I really expected more for over £500’s! The one good thing it that the majority of the staff were great and worked very hard to try and resolve all the issues. I would suggest that this hotel needs many more staff as they all seemed rushed off their feet. Surely with charging so much for the rooms Premier Inn could afford a lot more staff!

Wasn’t able check in until 4pm due to staffing issues. As a good will gesture we were offered refund on the meal deals purchased however upon checking my account after leaving the hotel at home noticed they’ve debited the account so instead of having a free meal I’ve been double charged for the meal deals. When raised I was told this was showing as a refund on their side and that I need to go to guest relations as they can’t do anything about it Mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. However the bathroom is lovely and the water pressure is great. Staff didn’t have time to give us all towels so I had to go down and get some more. Parking is additional as owned by council so not ideal Staff were Friendly
