We stayed here for 2 nights prior to heading over to Fraser Island. The location is fantastic being straight across the road from the beach and close to restaurants and amenities. Check in was contact free with a text being sent with the details of how to access the lock box for our key and how to find the parking and our apartment. Parking was on an allocated basis at the rear of the property, accessed by the road at the back - the road at the front can be quite busy as it is the main esplanade. The apartment blocks are clean and well presented, and the apartment itself was clean, although we did find one of the face washers had lipstick on it. We were on the second floor and access was via a small lift. We noticed there was a small step to navigate, firstly into the apartment and also into the bedroom and bathroom. I nearly tripped a couple of times going in to the apartment. The kitchen is set up with some cooking facilities - crockery etc - with a large fridge. There is no dishwasher, and the breakfast bowls were square which we found to be not that practical. The bedroom was between the living area and bathroom and was quite comfortable. The only suggestion for change here is to make the bedside lamps smaller or better yet mount lights above the bed - the existing bedside lamps take up too much space. The bathroom consisted of a small vanity with under sink space, only on one side though as the spa pump took up the other side, a spa bath with shower overhead. The step up into the bath was quite high and for us being older and less flexible it would have been beneficial to have an additional step to use to get in and out. There are a few Foxtel stations available if you feel the need to stay in and watch the TV. There is a pool and sauna available to use. Our balcony overlooked the pool and we saw that it was meticulously cleaned each day we were there. Check out was just as contact free with the option of leaving your key in the key box or dropping it off at reception. There are suitcase trolleys available for use too. Overall, apart from the few things already mentioned, we really enjoyed our stay here.
