View from this hotel is amazing, overlooking whole of Lichtenstein valley. Beautiful place, history of hotel is fascinating and nuns still potter around the gardens occasionally. Rooms were very clean but a bit basic in terms of furniture. We had a family suite, which had a separate bedroom for the adults which was great, but very limited seating options other than the bed. Staff were amazing, couldn’t be more helpful and made a great recommendation on what we could do for the day we were there (went to bregenz, really nice). Made time to talk to us which was lovely and gave us a bit of insight into local life and the history of the hotel. Restaurant is vegetarian only which was a shame as our fussy kids didn’t like much on the menu. Wouldn’t have been an issue for us as it all looked lovely. They operate a no food waste approach so try and re-use previous menu items and focus on local sourcing which is great from an environmental perspective. Check in was all automated which worked really well. Not sure how it would work if there were problems, the reception is unmanned which wasn’t an issue for us but did make the place feel a bit understaffed. All round lovely place, great for a few days in the area.
