"The Berghotel Hoher Knochen enjoys a prominent location on the Hoher Knochen mountain, offering excellent hiking opportunities and magnificent views of the Hochsauerland region. However, the stairs leading to the hotel entrance are insufficiently cleared in snowy weather. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but some have windows that don't close. Furthermore, the soap dispensers in some bathrooms and some showers in the pool are empty. Even upon explicit request, the rooms are not cleaned or are cleaned very rarely, and the beds are not made, due to a lack of staff. The buckles on the provided bathrobes are all torn. Worn carpets can be found in the dining room and many other parts of the building.
