Not impressed Probably one of of the worst experiences I’ve had on my travels. To start it all off, I drove passed the building 2 times before I realised where it was…..it looks nothing like the pictures at the front, if it was a dating site I’d have said they used a filter! Got there about 5.30pm, checked in and while checking in asked where the restaurant is so I can eat……got told they aren’t serving food tonight. What?? This would have been good to know beforehand and no reason given as to why. Then asked about breakfast to be then told it will be served at 9am onwards! Again, what?? That would have been good to know in advance too!!! So, so poor! Lovely big bath in the room, so figured I’d relax in that for the evening……not even enough hot water to fill half the bath!! Room was average, nothing wrong with it, a bed and a bathroom but for the cost I’d have expected much, much better communication and evening food and breakfast times!

Poor Hotel Arrived to be informed they do not do food Mon,Tues,and Wed. Asked what other pubs do food, to be told they are shut and not many places do food in Seaton at the beginning of the week. Ended up at Tesco. We should have been informed prior to visit. Toiletries only the minimum we asked 3 times for extra body wash. Basically they were penny pinching. The room did not have enough power points for todays use and the room could have been cleaner Breakfast minimal choice of 2 cereals. On our last breakfast the young lady was excellent helpful and served with a smile but we also had side plates. Tight car parking if you could get in.

Avoid if you need to be up early There were punters outside until midnight being extremely loud and no consideration on people trying to sleep

Great location for the South West Coast Path. Friendly welcome and ambience in the pub. Residents only lounge too. Breakfast was tasty.

Overall a lovely stay and exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were really good however it wasn't clear beforehand that there were limited slots for breakfast so we were initially disappointed to be told that we couldn't have breakfast at the time we wanted. Thankfully they were able to move tables around to accommodate us which was great. The rooms were very comfy and nicely decorated however there were large cobwebs in both the bedroom and bathroom and despite the room being refreshed every day these weren't cleaned in the 5 days that we were there. Seaton itself is pretty quiet but it's a great base for exploring nearby towns and it's nice to based on the coast. We would likely stay again if we return to the area!

The hotel was clean and very well-positioned for the beach and the Seaton parkrun. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but we were disapponted to be told we had to have the 9-10am timeslot as they had given everyone else 8-9. They only had 8 rooms to cater for and plenty of space to look after all 8 at once. When we asked if we could just have a quick coffee and croissant or toast before the parkrun, the answer was no. We were told the chef would wait until 950am in case we got back in time. No fruit at breakfast either but if you're an all english sort of person you would be happy. Eggs and toast etc also available so it was ok on our other two days. A good base for exploring the coast and a clean and fairly comfortable hotel.

Good value property in the heart of Seaton. Spacious room, huge TV, comfy bed, good breakfast. Nice outside area.

Little gem highly recommended Room and staff were brilliant. Very large comfortable room, with eveything you need. Little chocolates nice treat. Breakfast had plenty of choice and very tasty. Highly recommended.

Welcoming and a happy stay. Friendly staff, felt welcome. Adequate breakfast, on 2 of the 3 days would have been useful. A 3 day stay meant that you notice places that could be worked on, loose floor in dining room, patches of paint bubbling away from the wall in the bedroom, a curtain tie back/hook hat was quite sharp metal next to the single bed, shower needed a new shower head, a small amount of grouting in the shower that could have been cleaner, All of these are pedantic but noticed on a few days stay. We were comfortable and it was very handy for town.
