The room was ok. Not very noise contained. The hot tub was barely lukewarm. The pool was 3 times as hot. The remote control was broken.

Very kind and accommodating staff, excellent location, spacious room and hands down the best facility amenities available within 50 miles. The building is a little older but it is obvious that they are actively working on updates while mindfull not to create disturbance for the patrons. Very hospitable and conscientious management. Easily one of my all time favorite stays!

The property looks good from outside and lobby but the rooms are outdated and need some work. Did not have a coffee pot in the room and only served coffee till 9am .

The hotel is very dirty. When I entered my room, the toilet was very dirty. No soap. Very dirty kitchen. This hotel should only cost $35 per night.

Lobby and hallway floors were in need of a good vacuuming. My tv was permanently stuck in Spanish and it took 2 hours and a hard reset to fix it.

This is an older facility, in need of renovations, but also in need of a deep cleaning. The carpets are soiled and the walls sticky. Our toilet wouldn't flush and when i lifted the tank lid to try to repair, I saw that the inside of the tank was slimy with black mold. When I turned on the shower, the first blast of water was literally black. I have never seen anything like that. The breakfast was largely inedible. But here's the worst: We booked a two-night stay, and when we checked in, we paid $400. We left after one night due to a family emergency, and asked for a refund for the second night, which they refused. Fair enough, we weren't upset by that. However, the following day they charged me another $200. When I phoned, the man said they had decided to refund us one night; I told him he had actually charged me and not refunded me. He said he would reverse the charge and credit me, but then charged me ANOTHER $200! The manager was very rude when I called again, telling me I didn't understand. She emailed me the bill, which clearly showed I was correct, and she was not. I finally got credited for the extra charges, but not credited for the night we didn't use even though they told us after the fact that they planned to offer us that credit. Stay Away from the Truman Inn.

First room smell, like cigarettes Second room key would not work first time Air conditioner was turned off room was hot King size bed only had two pillows about 2 inches thick Took a shower. The water was just barely warm enough all the way on hot to stay under. For $150 for the night it was way too much money for the room

Beds were listed as Queen, but were actually full-size. Bathroom fan didn't work. Mini fridge didn't work. Floor was swept but desperately needed to be mopped (laminate in room and tile in bathroom). About 8 channels on the TV. It is VERY clear that they're trying to make profit by neglecting to replace/repair and clean appropriately. With all of that being said, it did feel safe, and the service provided was always with a smile and politeness.

Parking was a little cramped....but it was state fair week. Really enjoying our stay!
