cheap room rates, easy-to-find location, nice decorations, spacious room, my family and I are very satisfied and will come back to stay. this is a boutique hotel, u must take a picture at the lobby area , they serve dried fruits tea in the room. my mom like it and she bought to bring home
I’ve stayed at Royale Chulan countless of times and also on Chinese New Years . So since I heard Alson Klana has been refurbished I decided to give it a try for the first time. Firstly when arriving to the hotel , this is on Chinese New Year Eve , parking was not full hence not full house. The facade of the hotel looks haunted due to they did not paint the hotel at all although they had refurbish it. Went to counter and was passed to their trainee. Trainee didn’t understand English well despite continuing to Converse to him in English. In the end he replied in Bahasa Melayu while we converse with him in English. 4th floor was given despite us mentioning we do not prefer the number 4 especially heading towards the Chinese New Year due to starting the year with an inauspicious number. However we were given the answer it is a fully house. We asked again how about even the 3rd floor would do, same thing , full house despite a lot of parking space available. Anyhow, heading to the room, the room is spacious . However, the bathroom door is not in a good shape they did not change the bathroom door and it has cracks and it’s a very old door. The balcony is not cleaned and if you look at the other side, it looks very haunting and torn down. Doubt into housekeeping in the end, managed to dial into the front desk to request, for toothbrush, toothbrush was not provided any refill of tea bags is chargeable RM6. This might be the last time I stay in this hotel and I will return to the competitor.
This stay offers an exceptional opportunity for family bonding.
Regardless of age, you'll be immersed in joyful moments and create meaningful experiences with your loved ones. Activities like meditation, group games, stargazing, and sharing culinary experiences can be truly delightful. Spending a night here is sure to enhance your family relationships through various interactions.
I highly recommend it to others and suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The price is also very affordable.
This family-friendly Hakka homestay promises a truly special experience, where every moment is filled with enjoyment and relaxation.
Our family of 10 (aged 13 to 81) booked 3 units, Tapir, Kantan & Lanai for 2 nights in June. This place is surrounded by forest, perched high enough to enjoy views for miles around, with durian trees scattered throughout. We appreciated the fresh air, the incredible scenery, the flora & fauna, the feeling of spaciousness, the cooler temperatures & the fact that we could pick durians off the ground & eat them on the spot. If you detest insects, must have everything working quickly & efficiently (the place is slightly worn & some parts in need of maintenance but generally clean & comfortable), can’t live without wifi, must sleep in air- conditioned rooms & have to be fruitfully occupied with “activities”, then this is probably not your holiday destination. But if you hanker for space, solitude, long periods with nothing to do except enjoy the chirping of birds while reading a book, floating in a pool surrounded by gigantic trees, or just playing board or card games with friends / family, then please drop by for a stay. The manager & staff were friendly & helpful, food was decent, and beds very comfortable. We’ll definitely come back.
The hotel room i would rate as 3 and a half stars, good and comfy, and low occupancy. Room has a nice scenic view, quiet ambience to chillax, if that is your purpose to run from the city and bustling noise. Except there is no rug/carpet at tv area. Perhaps a comfy sofa to consider. Pre ordered meals lunch was okay, some dinner menu was a bit of a disappointment (breakfast in particular) and some too pricey. Carbonara was too sour from the pickled capsicum. x’mas Roast chicken set was so-so. I was given a “soup” spoon for nasi lemak breakfast, after waiting for them to top up the cutleries. Swimming pool - ok. Activities, not much, good thing there was a pool table, foosball table and some board games. Mini convenient store would be great to add, as there was no close-by shops to get snacks etc.
SSuuuuu95Very good location, near to market, laundry and restaurants.. they provided basic need also like shampoo and shower gel, prayer mat, mineral water and so on
RRICKELOverall pricing is really cheap, cant asks for more with such pricing. Friendly staffs. Not as bad as how some described. Maybe I'm lucky though. Air conditioner is working, water heater also working.
Breakfasts provided with standard room cost. Not bad though. Basic amenities available too. Suitable for a short stay or stopover. Carpark available too.
