One of the best resort in Senerona! Service is excellent! Will be coming again!

It’s a beautiful lodge! The food was consistently great, whether it was breakfast, seafood dinner buffet, dinner at Boma with Maasai performance, or a personalized romantic dinner featuring locally grown ingredients, arranged by the chef. The staff is working hard, trying to please, despite the bustling a**osphere. The security was vigilant; do not dismiss their effort to protect – you are just a short-term guest, and wild animals rule here. We were very impressed by the enthusiastic, upscale, reputation-worthy lodge manager. Mishaps are unavoidable in such a busy place, but his hands-on approach helps to correct performance flaws and minimize our disappoin**ents. Thank you, Mr. Seynard, for the recommendation and encouragement to take time for self-care. I had a great massage in a beautiful setting. Ms. J was caring and competent. I would recommend this safe sanctuary to travelers with younger children and those who need more comfortable and traditional accommodations.

Fomos agraciados com um upgrade e o nosso quarto que já era para ser uma excelente acomodação ficou ainda mais espaçosa! Manutenção toda perfeita. Refeições muito saborosas e ainda nos proporcionaram um jantar romântico especial à beira da piscina como cortesia pelo nosso aniversário de casamento, com menu degustação preparado especialmente pelo chef para nós. Destaque para o atendimento IMPECÁVEL e super atencioso do Peter, supervisor de comidas & bebidas do lodge. Nosso guia Amir também foi extremamente atencioso, paciente e gentil conosco, nos explicando tudo com muita dedicação. Tudo perfeito! Adoramos, indicamos e desejamos voltar em breve.

What an incredible resort! Stayed here with my wife in February 2024 and we tried to sample as many of the activities as we could. The accommodations were very comfortable and you can tell that the resort is working to make frequent improvements to the guest experience. While we were here we did 2 full day game drives, one half day game drive, the hot air balloon safari, and the bush dinner. Must do activities include seeing Ngorongoro Crater which has some amazing wildlife, the hot air balloon (which is not scary even if afraid of heights; it was very comfortable and serene and I’d do it again in a heartbeat), and we were lucky enough to see the wildebeast migration. Zebra and wildebeast as far as you could see. While we didn’t see much wildlife at the watering hole, it was a really lovely view to have when dining or lounging around the pool area. Spa was lovely as well. The restaurant with the Maasai show was fun and the morning buffets were also lovely spreads. Be sure to get up early enough to enjoy breakfast if you’re going on a game drive. The provided lunches were very tasty. The staff and management were very gracious and receptive to our needs and did everything they could to give us an amazing Four Seasons experience. If you’re looking for a unique experience and luxury in the Serengeti, this is it. I look forward to seeing how this hotel continues to improve as I hope to visit again one day and it can only get even more magical. If you are going on a safari — and why else would you be at this resort? — be advised: -the roads are unpaved and so the rides are extremely bumpy. Bring motion sickness tablets if you are prone to motion sickness. -it gets hot and these days are long and tiring. Bring some electrolyte pouches, something like a Liquid IV. At least one per person per day. Put it in your water and take one for the road. This was maybe the most valuable item I brought on the trip with me. During our first game drive I got motion sickness.. bad! I’d forgotten an electrolyte pack and there was luckily one in the med kit in the jeep. -bring a good water bottle like a hydroflask that keeps drinks cold. Fill it with Ice each day before hitting the road. The fridge in the jeeps don’t get very cold (but it’s awesome they’re there. Still, if you like cold water like me, this is the only way. I found Ice was not easy to come by in Africa, so don’t be surprised if you get funny looks if you ask for it. There is also a cold water dispenser in the rear part of the lobby area. -Bring extra batteries and memory cards for your cameras. Seriously. Bring a device to charge multiple batteries at once overnight. If you’re shooting with a camera with changeable lenses, bring two camera bodies if possible because changing lenses is time consuming and exposes your sensor to dust. -Bring one good telephoto. Just wanted to give our heartfelt thanks to all at the lodge for giving us the most extraordinary experience! The people who work at the lodge are the most kind, welcoming and warm people you will ever meet. They couldn’t do enough for us and wanted to make sure we were happy. Every detail was taken care of for us! Msaki went above and beyond. I know there are a ton of safari companies out there, but If you’re looking to go on safari, please check out the four seasons. Incredible in every way.

Quelle déception ! Hotel qui doit avoir une bonne quarantaine d'années, tout est à revoir. Piscine de l'hôtel toute petite pour 77 chambres, soit à minima 150 personnes...30 transats et encore. Mais comment certains peuvent adorer ce type d'hôtel ? Déjà on nous parle de lodge ou de villa, alors qu'il s'agit d'une barre d'immeuble, avec deux étages, je rêve. Tout ce que l'on veut éviter lorsque l'on vient en Tanzanie. J'ai l'impression de rentrer dans un immeuble. Je ne vous parle pas de la qualité de la chambre vendue en "villa" (publicité mensongère), lit king size en 160 très bof, matelas dans lequel on s'enfonce, inconfortable, mobilier usé jusqu'à la moelle, déhoussé, rayé, douchette avec deux cm de calcaires qui coule dans tous les sens, le sol qui colle sur la mini terrasse, piscine avec plus de soleil à 17h30, piscine c'est un grand mot, 2m sur 2m, eau trouble, luminaires qui doivent dater de l'après guerre, grilles de la piscine cassée. Tout a 40 ans et n'est pas net. Et pour couronner le tout, marteau piqueur tout l'après-midi au bord de la piscine principale, car l'hôtel est en rénovation. Mais d'où tu rénoves avec un marteau piqueur quand tu loues des chambres à plus de 1.500 euros la nuit ??? Explication de la gentille manager "On ne vous avait pas prévenu que l'on allait faire des travaux, il y a 3 jours ? Bah non, j'ai réservé il y a presque 6 mois. Et puis, tes travaux tu les fais quant tu fermes l'hôtel, ou en période des pluies lorsqu'il y a personne. La "villa famille" toute aussi énorme avec un canapé lit qui sent les milliers de clients qui y sont déjà passés, le manque de lumière dans la salle de bains (les ampoules doivent avoir 10 ans), la TV de travers dans la chambre, les grilles de la piscine cassées, les 200 mouches dans le globe de la lumière extérieure, les 6 couches de peinture depuis la construction qui ont coulé sur les luminaires...de travers. Moi j'aurais honte de louer ce type de chambre. Quoi que, vu que certains adorent, ils ont raison de ne pas de gêner. Après s'être plaint du marteau piqueur, on m'a offert du fromage avec du vin pétillant à 10 euros, et l'accès au spa pour moi et ma femme, mes enfants ils s'en foutent, la bonne blague. Aucune attention pour mes enfants d'ailleurs, 2 gourdes à 5 euros en cadeau en arrivant, mais on est 4, comment fait-on ? On se les partage ? Aprés 3 nuits au lemala de Tarangire, exceptionnel, 2 nuits au beyond de ngorongo, tout aussi exceptionnel, vous avez réussi à gâcher ma fin de séjour en tanzanie, merci. Merci aux centaines de commentaires de gens qui n'ont pas compris ce qu'était un hôtel 5 étoiles, et qui m'ont induit en erreur. Et là j'ai peur d'aller au restaurant ce soir car ceux qui ont trouvé l'hôtel exceptionnel, ont fait quelques réserves sur la nourriture, j'en tremble déjà. Plus jamais le four season !!! QUELLE HONTE !!! Fuyez !!!
