Late post but we went as a family for Mother’s Day, and what a lovely meal with fantastic service. Great a**osphere:) made for a lovely day!.. couldn’t fault it here, been before as a couple and was amazing then to, looking forward to going back

My son and I visit every Wednesday while my daughter is at her dance class, and we love it here. Walking into a beautiful friendly a**osphere week in week out, thanks to Laura the barmaid who is always pleased to see us and is brilliant with my little boy, she also makes the best hot chocs!! Highly reccomend!

Without doubt the best nights stayover I’ve had in years. There’s lots of hotels that play tricks on you. Like, instant coffee in a Cafetière, putting you in disabled access when you're of full ability to charging you for stuff you’d expect to get for gratis, wifi, parking etc etc. When the hot water only goes luke warm, the bath is 4ft and the shower heads max height is 5ft and you’re 5ft 10. The list is endless. Frozen butters, bread that’s thinner than a tramps shoe, jeez, don’t get me started. Non of that with The Castle in Eyesfleet. Plush, decor with soft music playing in the back ground, great lighting and all smiles from their super team. Rooms are light with crisp bed linen, lanterns, coffee machines, windows that actually open, vintage fans, green plants etc. The Castle is like Soho Houses baby brother. A great menu from their relatively new young chef. He left the flat plains of Norfolk heading for the Smoke, stumbled upon The Castle in Eyesfleet and has stayed ever since. Believe me, I know a Thai curry pie sounds grim but it was pretty sensational, although the accompanied gravy boat could’ve done with a touch of coconut/curry sauce. I’d suggested it, so if you order the curry pie and it comes with the sauce, you’ve me to thank. What else can I tell you? The bar? Cocktails, craft beers and more spirits than a ******* house. Full bodied reds available by the glass. Always a bugbear when the house red is like flamin’ Vimto. Not at the Castle, the Shiraz went straight to the knees and had me aiming for bed for a great nights kip.

My group stayed several days and the hotel was very accommodating with comfortable nice rooms. The staff was friendly and pleasant and interacted with us. They helped our special requests and made sure we had what we needed. I enjoyed my stay.

It was so nice to receive such a very warm welcome on a very cold January Tuesday. Fires lighting, bedroom spotless, amazing food at dinner. Thank you for a lovely stay. It was brief but enjoyable. We will be back and happy to recommend to others. M & P

Very disappointed. Thought I had found a great hotel near Brands Hatch that would be suitable for my wife and myself. Pictures on website looked great. But this was a case of over promising and under delivering. Room was quite small, shower room minute. Room was cold. Sheets and pillows were low quality. By chance, before we arrived we popped into Bluewater and my wife bought a couple of pillows for home and we used those! In the morning the breakfast was poor. Cold beans, no hash browns, no fruit juices - so we had a proper breakfast at Brands! If this had been promoted as a pub with rooms then expectations would have been lower. But, if you set the bar high on your website, then you have to meet client expectations and this, sadly, did not come close. Will find somewhere else for our next trip down to Brands... Evening meal was decent quality but more pub than restaurant.

Room 7 is very special and so right for celebrating your anniversary.will deninately be back again

We recently had our wedding at the castle and I can't recommend it enough. The function room and the decor thoughout the entire venue is beautiful. The rooms have loads of character and have a top end finish. The staff are very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We met the owner Lizzy a number of times before the day to make sure everything went according to plan. The food is lovely and the presentation is spot on. We have had lunch at the castle a couple of times prior to our wedding and its always been delicious. Thank you Lizzy and the team.
