The staff was great as always. The room was clean and well maintained. And the location and parting are great. The breakfast was mediocre. Had breakfast been a little better I would have bumped the stay up to excellent. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 10 years and the price has almost tripled while the breakfast has declined a bit. Other name brand hotels in the area seem a little more competitive in prices but we have had good experiences here, so we haven't tried any place different.

Stopped here for a night so that I could check out Buc-ee's in the morning. Usually on my way to Gatlinburg, I hit a Fairfield along the way, in Tennessee. Check-in was easy and my request was acknowledged at check-in and granted. Pillows were fluffy and the room was clean. Breakfast was fresh, attendant kept hot foods replenished and counters clean.

Nice Property, Great Desk Clerk, SAFE area, and my room was Very Clean. Breakfast was good with Great Coffee. Bed was good, towels were a bit thin, not that fluffy. 8.5/10 for a highway stop hotel, would recommend. A HUGE Bucee’s is on the other side of the highway.

Well I recieved a call on Monday saying the room was ready get there and was told it wasn't ready the lady at desk was very rude and wasn't friendly sarah was very kind the cards kelp blinking on

Stayed in a room with 2 queen beds with sofa bed. Once the sleeper sofa was opened up, it took up the entire space and was difficult to walk around. But we still had a great stay - hotel was clean and located across from a Bass Pro shop with restaurants and a sweet shop close by. A new Buc-ees was also only a few miles away. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a really great property with comfy beds, a friendly staff, and the most diverse complimentary breakfast I've ever seen. GPS will tell you it's 15 miles to Dollywood, but it will take you at least 30 minutes with no traffic, and 45+ with traffic. Also, plan for there to always be traffic. Price was more important than location for us, so we didn't mind. Just plan ahead. We were shocked at how long it took to get from point A to point B anywhere in the Pigeon Forge area. This property loses a star because the parking is not great and their on site laundry is insufficient. When we returned late at night, we sometimes had a had a hard time finding a parking spot due to tour busses and construction vehicles taking up multiple spaces in the lot. The laundry room is big enough that they could have three washers and dryers, but for some reason, they only have one of each. With a population mostly going to water and theme parks, I was shocked that they didn't have better laundry facilities. Terri in the breakfast area was so friendly and Sarah at the front desk was helpful and kind.

Recent overnight stay when passing through Smokey Mountains. Convenient location. Slightly better price than the Marriott properties closer to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Pleasant staff. Just enough parking spaces available. Would stay here again.

checked in on a wednesday night late. Room was small, muggy, bathroom floor was dirty and had grout missing in several places. closet door was the loudest door I’ve ever heard in my life when opening and closing. we couldn’t use it. My wife said she couldn’t stay here and we went downstairs. Told Michael at front desk our issues and he was apologetic. offered some bonus points and said to speak to samantha in morning and talk more with her. hotel was sold out and we could not switch rooms. In morning spoke to samantha. she offers to switch rooms but said it would be a few hours. We would not be there all day and basically had no choice but to stay in the room we had. Came back later that night at 7:00pm and asked to change then but everything was sold out. next day we asked to check out a day early. I booked this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and most times tripadvisor is correct. This time they were not. Rooms are very small. TV did not work properly. Pillows were terrible. Breakfast options were the worst Ive seen at a fairfield inn. electrical outlets did not all work to charge devices. Positives Close to highway, beds were actually comfortable, pool was clean. I would never be convinced to stay here again. On a side note, when we asked to check out a day early and hen leaving that morning, never were we asked how our stay was. I suspect they knew.

We reserved an Executive Suite which would sleep 3 adults (2 queens) and 2 children (pull-out). This was actually much smaller than pictured. It appeared to be a regular queen room with extra furniture jammed in. The pull-out was love-seat sized, but there was another tv – great for kids! We planned to stay from Sunday to Thursday for our trip to Dollywood. About an hour after arrival, the fire alarm went off. We were traveling with two children, one of which is a highly anxious 7-year-old and an 11-year-old who was in the shower. The kids started screaming, crying and running back and forth in a panic. I got them out of the room and down the four flights of stairs. Just as we reached the first floor, the alarm stopped. As we passed the front desk, I noticed several employees standing behind it chatting at asked them about the alarm. They didn't know why it went off, why it stopped or if the fire department would be there to give an all clear. These employees obviously could care less and were not trained for this situation. We finally convincing the kids to go back and to get dressed for dinner and went out. During the night the kids were anxious about the fire alarm going off again and we had to reassure them many times. Thank God it did not! By the time we got to bed, we were exhausted! Unfortunately, no one got a good night's sleep because the beds were in horrible condition. The mattresses were so worn, they were shaped like soup bowls with no support and no ability to stay on the edge away from the "bowl". In the morning, my adult daughter spoke with guest services and asked them to switch out the mattresses and was informed "we don't do that". End of conversation. There was no offer of a change in room or any other acknowledgement that we did not get the room/comfort level we expected and paid for with some form of compensation offered. When I went downstairs a few minutes later to speak with a different person at the desk, all I got was an apology. We checked out immediately and no one cared!!!! We spent most of the morning looking for other accommodations that would allow for 5 people and ended up in an Airbnb for the remainder of our vacation. This was a terrible way to start our vacation!!

We came easter weekend and stayed 2days and the room was clean but at 12 am both nights we heard what sounded like a dog and turned out to be a small child crying next door to us and then they were working on the roof making lots of noise and also someone had a blue vomit bag in the trash can on 4th floor and I come down stairs and ask them to have someone change the trash can that I couldn't get sick and noone ever changed it til next morning the manger tyler was very nice

Walked in and got a room with a king bed. We are Marriott members . Was a little disappointed because the hotel wouldn’t let my husband use military discount for a discount on the room rate. . Indoor pool. Complimentary breakfast. Free parking. Close to restaurants.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern hotel. The front desk staff - Michael - was professional and courteous as well as efficient. He even asked us if we had a preference of floor! The room was clean with a modern style. The beds were comfy. Everything was in working order. Breakfast and coffee in the morning was tasty and ready when we were - at 6:30 am. If you’re looking for a clean friendly hotel this one is for you.

Excellent stay from the people to the rooms and the breakfast all was great would stay again close to stores and food , Bass pro shop across the street Harley across the street and some more small shops

When we visit Gatlinburg, we come up a day early and spend the night at the Kodak Fairfield Inn. The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are clean, it's a great location, plus free breakfast. Good restaurant right across the parking lot! It's a win-win.
